It was my fault. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. I actually gave them another chance and they sent me another defective unit. When I finally called the only number I could sweat out the clerk all but laughed at me. I wouldn't but another Marcy product if my life depended on it. Pure junk.Read More
Fortunately my husband is handy because there were no assembly instructions included. It took about 30 minutes to assemble (I held the handle bars so the bolts could go in). Itbhelps tom have a second pair of hands but one person could do it - it would take a little longerbthough. I wish the back of the seat was adjustable, but I will just use a pillow to change the pitch. Good basic bike.Read More
Small but fits exactly where I wanted it. comfortable and sturdy-good value-good priceRead More
I don't like to exercise, but tried a recumbent bike at a friends. Even though our FIRST bike from Overstock came with something not working quite right, they quickly replaced it, and now it works like a charm. We've had it for quite a while now, over a year, and what I like best is that it is quiet enough, that we have it in our living room, and we can easily watch TV while riding it, and the TV volume barely has to be turned up....My two kids, ages 17 and 13 also use it. An extra bonus is that if we have a bunch of teens over for a party or a movie, it provides one more comfortable place to sit!Read More
Very good buy for the money. Had a little trouble setting the tension initially but otherwise very well pleased.Read More
I was afraid that for the price this would be flimsy, and very cheaply made. It's not! My rather large, 240 husband uses it confidently without experiencing any hardware issues. This piece is easy to assemble and even easier to use, which is just what we were looking for. We can easily put it in the garage with our treadmill if we have guests. Otherwise, we transfer it between our living area downstairs, and the office as well as den upstairs, without any issues. It is easy to move because there are mini wheels on the bottom, and it is lightweight enough to lug up and down the stairs. We have been using it every day. Love it!Read More
This bike is simple, sturdy and ideal for a home bike. It is lightweight so can easily be moved around if needed. I had one in the hospital after surgery and wanted one exactly like it in my home. Love this bike.Read More
Everything as represented. Easy to assemble. Only concern is the ease of adjusting for different leg lengths and, over time with use, that should resolve itself.Read More
I bought this bike to help me get exercise at home as I'm currently pregnant and it's too cold to continue walking outside. The size of the bike is perfect - it's not too tall or obtrusive so I currently have it set up in the corner of my living room. It's also very quiet - I can work out while we all sit and watch TV together in the evening without causing a problem. My 11-year-old daughter and I put it together in about an hour without any trouble so we had no trouble with the setup. I love how it's so easily adjustable so my husband (who's well over six feet tall) and I can both use it. It's not super fancy and the display is fairly simple (it doesn't have all the programs like the bikes at the gym, of course) but it is sturdy and you can adjust the tension for a more or less strenuous exercise. It is light and has wheels on the front, too, so it can easily be rolled into another area if company is coming. I would absolutely recommend this bike - it's a perfect, low-cost option to have at home.Read More
Putting this bike together was rather difficult on my own, but I got it done. After that challenge I was excited to start using it but quickly became very disappointed at the lack of tension provided by this bike. At the highest setting, I was not challenged whatsoever, so much so that I took that part apart to check to see that I had connected it properly. Yes, it was connected as instructed so I put it back together and tried again. I called the company to see if there was something I could do to improve the tension but was told there was nothing that could be done. The customer service technician suggested that I check the connection which I'd already done. I'm doing to take it apart again to see if I can come up with some way to improve the functionality of this bike.Read More

FAQs about BMX Bikes
BMX is short for bicycle motocross and refers to a sport that involves extreme racing on bicycles in motocross style, usually over dirt tracks. BMX bike racing started in southern California in the 1970s when kids started racing their standard bicycles over dirt tracks. This eventually evolved into the extreme sport that we see today. Now, "BMX bike" is a fairly generic term that can relate to any number of styles of bicycle, including all-terrain bikes and mountain bikes. The type of BMX bike you buy will depend on what you want to do with it and where you want to use it.
How to Buy Cycling Shoes
As with most sports, cycling has an array of gear made specifically for it. Cycling shoes, for example, are designed to help a cyclist perform better. While regular tennis shoes or sneakers slip on the pedals of a bike, cycling shoes grip the pedals. The stiffness of the soles of these shoes combined with the ability to fasten to the pedals of the bike allow for optimum efficiency when cycling. If you are participating in cycling, it is necessary to buy biking shoes to get the most out of bike rides without wasting energy.

Tips on Choosing BMX Bikes
Ever since they appeared in California in the 1960s, BMX bikes have been a standard mode of transportation for kids. That's partly because BMX bicycles are the right size and partly because they're durable, but it's also due in large part to the fact that BMX bikes are simply cool. They're made for riding around in the dirt and jumping off ramps, and it doesn't get a whole lot cooler than that for a ten year old (if not their parents). If you're a parent and you're not sold on just how awesome BMX bikes are for young kids, you can still appreciate the fact that they make great beginner bikes. They're built to withstand a lot of abuse, and the design is simple enough that repairs and adjustments are infrequent and easy. Keep reading for more information on why a BMX bike may be the right bike for your child and tips on choosing the right bike.
How to Choose a Bicycle Seat
Finding the right bike seat is an important but challenging task. On the one hand, bike seats have the tendency to be chronically uncomfortable, so deciding which one will break the mold can be difficult. On the other hand, you'll be stuck cycling on your bike seat for hours at a time, so breaking that mold is exactly what you need to do. Break down your search of bicycle parts and accessories by a few key factors, and you'll find the right seat for you.
How to Use Cycling Shoes
Cycling shoes are designed to improve a cyclist's performance. The sole of a cycling shoe has limited flexibility, which helps a cyclist concentrate all his or her power on pedaling. Cycling shoes also have special cleats that clip into clipless pedals (a very misleading name) to prevent the shoes from slipping off and allow you to pull up on your pedals, increasing your cycling performance. Once clipped in, the bike shoes will remain attached until the cyclist is ready to disengage. Cycling shoes are specially designed for various styles of cycling, including road racing, spinning, touring, off-road biking and mountain biking. Road-cycling shoes usually have slick plastic soles that aren't designed to provide traction. Mountain-bike shoes, on the other hand, look more like regular hiking shoes and are more suited to walking.
How to Choose Winter Cycling Apparel
When choosing winter cycling apparel, keep in mind how cold the weather you'll be cycling in is. Choose apparel that is appropriate to the weather and that fits you well. Too many air pockets can make you cold, as can clothing that is too tight. Winter cycling can be a fun sport with the right clothing. Biking in winter can be comfortable with the right apparel.
