I purchased this in April 2008 and use is a 3-5 times/week. It creeks/squeeks every time I use it & I need to tighten the loose bolts (that hold on the wheel in the back) frequently. It slowly comes apart as you use it, so be sure to keep your socket set near by. Spraying wd40 once/week stlightly helps with the squeeking noises. The bushings in the front of the skis are wearing away. I can tell because of the pile of fine black powder collecting under that part of the machine. I wish I purchased a used one instead of this one. It does get the job done so I do get a workout, but I prefer one with less ongoing maintenence.

This is great for someone just starting to get on the work out bus! So it is perfect for me! The tension setting is no different between 1 or 9.. so once I have reached the level that I need to run everyday 5 miles, I have a feeling this will be a hand me down to my sister. But it is great for now, and the value is wonderful! It is very small, so I have it in the corner of the bedroom and it fits perfect! Thanks OVERSTOCK!

This has been the worse product I have ever purchased on Overstock.com. The major problem with this elliptical is the way the shaft with the tension adjustor on it connects to the rest of the machine. There are 4 screws that hold it together and they cant hold it tight enough so the machine makes extremely loud noises with every step you take. The more you use the machine the looser the screws get and the louder the noises get. After a while you cannot tighten the screws anymore because the screws that come with the machine are of low quality and the hole where the allen wrinch fits get stripped. Now after owning the machine about 2 months im stuck with a complete useless machine .

Not difficult to put together and easy to use. Only problem is the first day the outside edge of the plastic foot pad broke right off. There isn't a number in the manual to call for replacement parts. Other than that its fine and like I said, easy to use and fairly easy to put together.

Meaning, has a good value and so can you if you buy it. It's cheaper than almost any elliptical on the market, yet this one got resistance knob, heartbeat rate measuring, and all the bangs-and-whistles like calories burnt, distance meter, odometer, etc. Shipping from Overstock was just OK, no delays or wrong addresses. I got the thing recently, so cannot state overall long-time durability, but so far - so good, no problems are seen. When assembling the unit - you may find out that some of the blueprints give wrong info about nuts and bolts that gotta be used during this or that stage. Still, I've had only one case of such discrepancy, apart from that assembling went on fine and comparatively easy (though some people might need a hand of those who's savvy with wrenches, screws and stuff). Measurements are made by a small computer, which has some glitches and resets from time to time, but recovers easily (just need to take the batteries out for 3-5 sec). Apart from that - it's just fine and I love using it 15-25 min every other day.
