Customer Reviews
I am rating it based on assembly only at this point - I am on my 3rd try in putting it together - I put a weight machine together in Japan with Japanese instructions only & only 3 photos that was easier than this - nothing is labeled or described and even after sorting and organizing all of the washers, bolts, etc. the assembly is horrific.Even if the machine works flawlessly I would not recommend it if you can purchase something that comes with usable instructions.

First off, mine arrived with a bent bar but I decided to put it together away. Secondly, this thing is horrible to put together. Nothing is labeled so it is a guessing game as to which screw and washer is which. It took me probably 3 hours to put that thing together. And then the thing broke the second time I used it! I was moving away on it and started to hear a bumping noise, I stopped working out to inspect what was going on and the flywheel cover was coming off! This is a part that comes preassembled so I have no way to fix it. Thank goodness I still have the box it came in because this thing is going right back to Overstock, I am just really not looking forward to taking this thing back apart.

It took me about 2 hours to put this together. Looked really good. However, it broke the second time I used it. The flywheel came loose from the axle. Extremely frustrating & disappointing.

This is a great entry level elliptical. It had everything I wanted in the price range that I could afford. The instructions for putting it together are awful, but I managed to get it all together, and is pretty sturdy. It wables slightly, but that is understandable considering the size and design. The nice thing that I didn't know about the elliptical from the description that it measures distances in km. As a competitive runner this is an exciting feature as most races are in km. There is actually a feeling of working the muscles which isn't common in this price range. Over all this is a great peice of equipment that someone who can't afford a lot will enjoy.
I'm an inactive 63 year old female looking for an overall exercise machine. This elliptical equipment met my needs. I didn't want to invest over $1000 so this product also met my budget. It offers the basics such as calorie counter, RPM, time, distance, tension, etc. The assembly required preorganization because the screws and washers are not labelled as to size. There is no drawing for the various sizes of screws, 4 different types of washers. The workmanship is average. The left handle squeeks - reason unknown. One of the screws is not aligned to the hole. Overall, it is a great 'first' elliptical. Additional benefit: my husband, who needs a hip replacement is using it and found it temporarily offers pain relief in his hip! Should I desire to purchase a better quality one in the future (willing to pay over $1000), I definitely will know what to look for. I recommend it based on value as well as basic functionally for first time user.
