My Grandson had been wanting one of the remote control helicopters for some time. I got free shipping with my order which saved me receiving the package and then having to mail it myself. He is loving it! I also loved that it came with the battery for the helicopter, though I sent a large pack of batteries for the remote. Overall good dealIdRead More
I like this helicopter. It has true 3 axis proportional control. It's durable: it has probably crashed 200 times in the ten hours I've flown it and it's still in new condition. It can be flown indoors: in all those crashes I haven't broken anything yet. Information: it is very small and light; apparently it won't tolerate a breeze outdoors. The controller takes 6 AA batteries. The controller plugs into the helicopter to charge it. You get about 5 to 10 minutes of flying time for 10 to 20 minutes of charging time. Downsides: it takes a while to learn to control it. After ten hours I am just now able to fly with only a couple of crashes per flight. Buyer advisory: only buy RC toys that have proportional control (small input/ small result, large input/ large result). RC toys that aren't proportional are no fun, even for kids, because you can't develop skill. This toy IS proportional.Read More
It is great to see a grown man giggle. This little copter entertained the guys and almost lasted through an attack by a four year old. No, it isn't meant to be stepped on, so we had to bust out the crazy glue. It flew fine after that. One design flaw that we 'fixed' was the rear prop that struck the steering router. Other than that, I'd say that this is a great starter helicopter for your would be pilot!Read More
I am amazed at the quality of this helicopter compared to what I bought just a year ago on Overstock. This is a great value and tons of fun.Read More
Great flying copter. Easy to fly right away. Very tough - crashed several times (due to pilot error) and it never sustained any damage. The build quality is excellent - awesome physical details. I've flown many RC aircraft over the years and I would definitely recommend this copter. The value is outstanding.Read More
