I would suggest trying on similar products at local stores first to get a better idea on the sizing.

They looked and felt great on the boys. It wasn't hard to convience them to wear the protection while riding like I had thought it would be because they looked like pro gear off and on. They fit around large knees and thighs.

• How accurate was the sizing? Just what I was looking for. I bought two sets for my boys that although only 14 and 16 have large men size extremities. They fit great. Easy to wear while riding.
