  For the price it will slightly light up a bedroom in full darkness. This product is more like a night light.

  WE had a power outage I couldn't see because my home id dark. It will fill the ticket. I bought some spare batteries to have on had if I have to use it allot when the power goes out.

  my kids LOVE these!! both have them now. these early dark nights have to take the dog for a walk... these get strapped on instead of holding a flashlight, dog bag, treat and leash and off the kids go. its funny but REALLY functional. very fun for kids on bikes early AM on way to school but they like them and I think its safer

  purchased two lanterns as gifts, they were not as bright as description leads, not what I would term super bright, but they are a nice weight to handle, easy to use and my son thought they were great. If you want to see around your tent or camping area they are excellent, but don't try to read by them.
