This product was just as described and about $60 cheaper than a leading sporting goods chain. Not to mention Overstock.com shipped it for free, which saved me another $30.

Do not care for directions that are pictures, but if you follow carefully you wil have no problem assembling. Only needed assistance from my 12 year old son twice. Done in three hours taking my time. Family and sons friends have enjoyed ever since. Best price for best hoop after much research. Recommend highly.

Ordered this for my nine year old grandson. He LOVES it and plays everyday. My husband was looking at other hoops available from sporting goods stores and the price was considerably higher and postage was insane. This is perfect, will last him for years and he is very happy. Our son said it took two people to assemble.

the portable basketball system is great!! Just what my boys were looking for. The height adjustment handle is very easy for them to move up or down as well. It did take more than 2 people to put it together though. We used about 6 bags of sand and then added water to make it very stable. It's not moving at al!! Great system and GREAT Price!! Every other store wanted 400.00 for the same exact system. So worth the $$$.

Great setup for our needs. It wasn't as bad to put together as mentioned in several other reviews. My 9 year old and I put it together in about 2 1/2 hours. The only part that required another adult was filling the base with the sand - due to having to angle the bottom for the sand to settle. Very pleased with the purchase and the kids are loving their new outdoor recreation.

I was afraid it would be very difficult to assemble, especially since I had no one to help. But the two person required to assemble was more of a suggestion than a necessity. With dilligence, patience and care, one person can assemble this with little difficulty.

This basketball hoop is just as described. I reviewed a lot of these before choosing this one. This system has a steel edge around the backboard which many of the portable systems do not have. That supposedly will prevent warping in the summer heat. It took a few hours to put together but the directions and parts were perfect. Was able to put together with 1 person for most of the assembly. Needed a second person when it came to getting the system upright. Love the adjustability. My kids 9,11 are able to adjust the height of the basket by themselves. Loved that this was delivered to my door and I didn't have to load it into my car at the store!

great goal, both my daughters use it and adjust th height easily. Directions are pictures only - NO written directions so a liitle bit of a pain but still manageable. Definitely takes 2 to assemble and 1.5 hours.

I purchased this for my husband as a Christmas gift but it took him forever to assemble it- this is a two person job and it took him about three days to do it - I would not recommend this unless you have a person to help you assemble

Very happy with this purchase. Good quality, good value, good customer service. Took 2 of us about 4 hours to put together. We ended up referencing setup instructions online as well as using the manual that shipped with the product. Slightly confusing in parts, but we really had no major problems!

We bought this hoop for our kids for Christmas. They love it! I can't really comment on putting it together. My husband did that with the kids and it didn't seem to take all that long. To fill the base with sand, it takes a fair amount of sand. With the sand it is also pretty heavy and unfortunately we live in a subdivision where we are not allowed to keep it out in our driveway. So the kids have to roll it in and out of the garage when they want to use it. If my 15 year old son isn't around, I have to help my daughters because it is so heavy. However, I do realize that most people who purchase it won't have the restrictions that we do and will probably just leave it in place. Without the water or sand in the base it wouldn't be so hard to move, but then again it wouldn't be very stable when shooting baskets. Great quality, great price, happy kids!

I had no problems putting this together on Christmas Eve. Instructions were great and I only made one mistake because I wasn't paying attention (or my brain wasn't working at 2am).

I bought this for my 8 yr old grandson, which he and his friends have totally enjoyed, as have the various big boys who come to join him. Easy to assemble and adjust to his height.....very stable and has withstood the strong winds of RI storms. Overstock delivers, so having not to have to pick it up was an added bonus. This was exactly what I wanted and I know it will bring my little man, and his friends years of fun. It seems everyone else wants one now.

Quick shipping. It took about 3-4 hrs for by brother to assemble it, all by himself. Certainly helps if you have two people. Not very easy to assemble. very stable. We filled it with water and stashed couple of 50lb bags of pea gravel.

Awesome hoop! Easy to raise and lower for the height. Quick delivery. Was not easy to put together (Lots and lots of parts) but once it's done you'll really enjoy it! Make sure before you fill the base, you have it where you want it. Not easy to move.

I bought this for my son and two daughters, all teens. They LOVE it. The backboard is large (important when you live on a hill) and the pole is very sturdy. This replaces another one we have, purchased years ago at some sports store. This one is so much better. It wasn't difficult for my husband and 13-year-old son to assemble (took maybe 3 hours). The kids have been outside using it every afternoon after school. I definitely recommend this product.
