Can only say, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS TO THE LETTER (as vague as they may be). Read twice and install once. Other than that, nice piece of equipment and very satisfied with the purchase. Recommend paying a tad extra and using quick set cement along with a bulleyes level that attaches to the pole. Also pay attention to detail such as the alignment of the slots in the pole that is set into the cement/ ground. Might pay to have someone a bit mechanically inclined (to say the least). We had this in the ground, mounted and shooting hoops five hours after starting (waited for quick set cement to dry). Love it!

We bought this basketball goal for our swimming pool. We have a sleeve for a goal in our pool deck and this "in ground" system works perfectly. It was fairly easy to put together and the clear acrylic backboard looks great with the pool. The adjustable height and spring back rim were what I was looking for and it was by far the best price I found on any comparable systems.

it took us a few days to install this basketball system from start to finish but when it was all set up, we were pleased how great it looked. this item is highly recommended. can't beat the price.

After finally putting to rest our old system, I didn't want to put a small fortune in another since my son would be leaving for college soon. I researched other sites and systems and could not beat the price of this one for the quality. Looks great... my son and his friends are very happy with it. It arrived so quickly also!

Great for the price, but the assembly instructions were very poor. You must really study the instructions to figure out how to assemble the hoop. But, if you can get past that, it really is a good hoop. Many of the online reviews stated that the pole was subject to rusting through, from the inside out. After reviewing some of the pictures posted online, I wasn't sure if the poles actually rusted out or because they were full of water, it froze and split. Either way, to remedy the situation (after the hoop was fully assembled and installed), I ran a 1/2" piece of rebar all the way to the top. Then filled the pole with concrete, mounding the concrete on top, in place of the cap. The pole is very strong, should last forever, and rusting/freezing should not be an issue. The extra work and the $2.33 (on sale at Menards) for the extra bag of concrete was well worth it! A family friend is planning to buy one for his son's birthday (this Sunday) and assemble it the same way!

Overall we are happy with our purchase. Our boys are enjoying the play time. Any problems we had were remedied quickly and effeciently.

We had some issues with bolts and nuts. Had to make a trip to Home Depot for some replacement parts. Overall, nice pole and backboard for the price. The backboard sways every time the ball hits it, but it's fine for us. I don't think it would hold up to dunking though.

Took a while to assemble and dig the hole and poor concrete. However, it was well worth it. It is solid and won't blow over. easy to adjust with a broom.

Nice hoop for the price.The height adjustment is more manual than what we had.We dont have to worry about the wind blowing over the hoop onto a vehicle anymore.Was easy to install.

Directions were ok. sometimes a little tricky. Backboard is a little less quality than i expected. Otherwise a great buy. Kids love it.

Good quality. It was installed by handyman, so I am not sure how easy to install if someone buy the basketball system for the first time. the back board is smaller compare to other brand, but it good enough to when it is used on the driveway.
