We need directions. we received the tent with no directions.
The tent is roomy and still fairly light given the size. I solved the zipper problem by spray some dry-grease directly on the zipper. I'm sure I'll have to continue to do this but for $* it is not that big of a hassle. Besides, zippers always become problems after a year or two anyways....

I bought this tent and when it arrived, the zippers were very poor quality. When the tent was put together, it was very difficult to zip and the zippers would sometimes split open from the teeth. I tried to exchange the item, however it was out of stock. It may have just been the tent I received, however I would not recommend buying this brand based off my experience.Read More

Although the tent itself was fine, and did not leak with light rain, the zipper broke the first time we used the tent. We were able to enter the tent 3 or 4 times before the zipper separated and could not be put back together.Read More
I wasn't expecting anything great when I bought this tent. But I was pretty surprised when the first time I setup the tent, the metal part of the zipper broke. Also I couldn't even get the tent closed because the zipper didn't work right. It was raining outside the tent, and about XX% of that rain got into the tent even considering I put up the rain fly properly. Don't buy this tent, it's a piece of crap.Read More
It's fairly easy (and basic) to set up and light to carry. I comfortably fit three people inside with all of our gear and still had space. The zipper was, however, difficult to pull closed and snapped in half with a little too much pulling. Otherwise a nice tent.Read More
we purchase 2 of these tents and one of them was perfect, but the other one had many defects, first the carry bag handle ame frayed and was not sewn together, second when we put the tent up the door zipper would not zip easily, zipping it was very difficult.Read More
I thought we had a great bargain until the tent was set up and we went to close the entry door. The zipper wasn't even engaging both sides of teeth and the bottom stop is sewn well into the hem of the door, preventing repair without taking a lot of stitching out. Not a field repair I would choose to do. Really, this would be a great tent except for the zipper quality. Sadly, without doors and flaps that can be closed, all the great qualities of any tent are reduced to the lowest common factor.Read More
Questions & Answers
Hi milescindy, I will have someone from our customer care contact you soon. Thanks for shopping with us!
There are two groups of sticks with an elastic band running thru the center of each group. After inserting each stick into their neighbor you end up with two long flexible poles. These easily slide thru a sheath which runs on the outside of the tent to opposite corners, crossing at the top. There is a tie at the top to join the poles where they cross each other. If this is not helpful, I know customer service at Overstock has been helpful to me in the past. They could either talk you through it or send you the directions. I also noticed that if you go online you will be able to pull up instructions for the Ledge Sports Ridge 4. Just click on "setting up your tent".
