item never arrived and shipping was misleading
I will NEVER be using Overstock.com again and I have told my friends to avoid using this site. I purchased a gift for my nephew over Thanksgiving weekend and was informed via e-mail that it had "shipped". Well, when I didn't receive it, I checked the shipping status and saw that Overstock.com just sent a message to the carrier that the item is available for shipping. So, after weeks, I finally called the customer service department and was told that the item was "lost" and they were initiating a search for it. I would hear from someone in four days and if not found, would be issued a full refund. At this point, I've had to get another gift because I'm not trusting that Overstock.com will find this item. Again, I am very disappointed and will not be using your services again. I feel like I've been "had"...receiving an e-mail that said the item "shipped" but really hadn't at all.
