LEGO 9489 Endor Rebel Trooper and Imperial Trooper Play Set

We have a winter home in FL 5 miles from the new Legoland that opened in October 2011. We also have two grandsons who live in the same town as we do during the rest of the year. They visited our FL home for the first time a few weeks ago and were eager to visit Legoland. Our four year old grandson has been on a Lego kick for several months now. I ordered two boxes for him in FL. Even though he's almost 5 and the ages said 6-9 and 7-12 he was able to build both items with help from the grown ups. He spent a great deal of time learning how to follow the instructions and put the pieces together, some of which are oh so small! Anyway, both boxes turned out to be a great investment as they were completed rather quickly. I think his visit to Legoland was only enhanced by having had the experience of putting together these two items. I bought him a box of 704 pieces in a large tub and a book entitled, Ideas Using Legos. Here he'll be able to use his imagination and build whatever he wants to instead of following instructions for a specific item. The best of both worlds! I think Legos are wonderful for any young child and the skills obtained from learning to build with Legos will intertwine in their lives positively in numerous areas.
