This sap or blackjack is comfortable in the hand, and delivers a hard hitting stunning blow. It has a great solid construction with high quality stitching and leather coverings. I would highly recommed this to people in Law Enforcement, and Security Services.

    Cold Steel Smatchet Machete

    dennissaint  from NH, Rating:5.0

this smachet style machete was well built came with a great edge and excellent sheath. the handle is solid and does not seperate from the blade, the blade design itself allows for it to be used not only for bush craft, but also defense and attack if needed. this is an excellent weapon/useful tool.

  • great value assisted opening pocket knife

    doctormilonga  from Arizona, Rating:4.0

This is a liner lock assisted opening knife. The knife opens easily and smoothly with one hand operation, using either the thumb stud or with the small extension on the blade which sticks out of the spine of the knife (see photos). The blade is stainless steel with some stylish cutouts. I bought the blade that is partially serrated. The pocket clip is oriented for point down carry, which works well for me. The thickness of the handle is an eighth of an inch thicker than a comparable Gerber knife, but the blade is a quarter inch longer. The metal parts have good fit, although you can wiggle the blade a little bit more than the Gerber. The liner lock functions as it should and has a tight lockup, but is easily manipulated for one hand closing. The blade is hollow ground and sharp. Overall, this is an excellent knife for the money

  • Nice sturdy bayonet

I purchased this bayonet as a prop, more or less, for my rifles that have bayonet lugs. It's a sturdy blade with a comfortable handle and a nice scabbard. The knife and scabbard mate up for cutting wires. I'm not certain of the construction (full tang?), but it feels heavy and robust. I've seen nicer bayonets, but for premium prices. This knife more than suited my needs.

  • It's ... a bayonet

Got this more or less as a prop for my rifles equipped with bayonet lugs. There's not much to it--it's a pointy stick! I knocked off a couple points because as soon as I attempted to put this knife in its scabbard the retention clip badly scratched the finish on the knife. Apparently this is a common thing with M7 bayonets, but I didn't know that and it was disappointing to damage my knife minutes after opening it. But, well, it's made to do a job, not to look pretty.
