  • Fair backup knife

Blade has a decent edge. Knife is cheaply made. Compass is size of a pinky fingernail, but seems to work. Knife does float as stated. Scabbard broke first time I tried to wear it. You get what you pay for.

Cheaply made knife with a good edge on the blade. Decent pocket-sized knife that you don't have to worry about breaking the bank to replace.

The knife has a good edge. The blade wobbles from side to side a bit when in the locked open position. Eight inches is the overall length when open. Overall assessment: a decent cheap, disposable knife to have in the tool or tackle box.

  • Small Knife, comes very sharp, very nice

Small Knife, comes very sharp, very nice. Inexpensive, worth it. Open it is about the size of a dinner knife. the blade isn't fully hidden when closed. There is even a small gap. I think that could bother someone looking to pocket carry this all the time.

I have a yard that is overgrown with all manner of cactus. It is that veritable jungle that slowly forces all other plants out. My main problem is I have a very bad allergy to cats (a problem for most NY city born and bred people who emigrate to Southern California. Due top this issue clearing away encroaching cactus has been a big problem. No more! This machete keeps me a safe distance from the venomous cats sap and spines as I cut them down. As advertised it arrived sharp and easy to work and in moments I had begun to best my "enemy". If you need a machete, this is the one for you!
