This product is great, asked around before selecting this trainer and this one did not get any negative reviews. A bit more expensive but you are getting a great product. Was debating also about which model to get (Rock n Roll & this) and happy I picked that one... This is a wonderful addition to the tools for getting me ready for my triathlon. Hawaii here I come

After reading a lot of reviews on kinetic trainers, my husband and I ended up purchasing this one. We bought it on Overstock because it was a bit cheaper than elsewhere (such as REI), especially when you include the riser (which you should definitely get). My husband didn't have too much trouble setting this up, and it's been wonderful ever since. It's quiet, and when you change gears the resistence changes as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to make use of their bike during the winter (note: my husband has a road bike; I'm not sure how a different type of bike would work, but I would imagine it would be fine).
