My grandson loved this gift and overstock was the least expensive on the internet or local stores

I purchased this for my almost three-year old granddaughter (she will be three end of March, 2010). Although she likes the blocks, she was more interested in the dolls she received. However, my almost eight-year old grandson (he will be 8 January 8, 2010) began to play with the blocks and was more interested in building stuff with them, which he did for two days, while we were staying at a beach house, where we spent the Christmas holidays. I believe they both like the blocks and will have a lot of use for them as time goes one. I am glad I purchased them. Meanwhile, I have invested in plastic containers for the kids to keep the blocks and other toys in. Thank you.

What a great deal on this product! I have a 3 yr old Down Snydrome child and all the other blocks we have done in the past have been foam or a glued laminate, these are a solid wood block and multiple colored for helping in developement. He has been playing with them continous since X-Mas.The discount price that had listed for a while, made it a super value that couldn't be passed up,Thank You Overstock!

This set is a great value. I searched similar sets over the internet and the cost was at least double. The blocks are a great size for toddlers and older children. Fantastic toys.

We gave a set to our 6 year old nephew for his birthday. He spent the next two hours playing and creating with them. His Mom tells us that he uses them constantly. He would rather play with them than watch TV!

As an adult, your eyes may cross, but watching your grandchildren playing with these blocks opens a whole new world of perspective to you. The designs they make are absolutely fantastic, creative and curious. Then they proceed to alter them, add on or start anew. This is probably the best gift, and I have bought many of them, that I have purchased for them that has satisfied the 2 year old to the ten year old in one shot.

Gave to my 8 year old daughter as a gift. The great block shapes and colors really add to her current natural colored block collection. Was a little pricey for some wood, in my opinion, though. The only negative is that she keeps arguing with her 10 year old brother over them! It's driving me crazy! Guess I should've bought them both their own set. Actually, the blocks came in 2 shrink wrapped sections in a huge box, so I could have just split them up equally!

I like this block set. It has great colors and shapes. Also the blocks are smooth with a variety of sizes.

Purchased this for my grandkids, they are playing with it all the time, very educational, great Christmas stocking stuffer, highly recommend for grammas and grampas who don't know what to buy!
