  • Consumers guide was right!

This was a really good buy for the money, as the bike is very heavy-duty and has some nice features. I had searched Consumers Guide for the sit-down bikes that were both decent, and in my price range. This was the best bike I could find for less then $400. And really, after getting it, I can say it's better then bikes I've seen upwards of $500 in the stores. We've only had for a month, so we'll see if it stands the test of time. I've bought cheapy stuff in the past, and refuse to get it again. This is nice and solid. It doesn't rock at all while useing it. It's also extremely quiet, which was a must for me as I only seem to use it when I can watch the boob tube at the same time. =)

  • Really Great!

I got the bike a couple of weeks ago for my birthday and it came three days after I purchased it. I've been usuing it ever since and it is wonderful. It does everything I need it to, caculate the calories, take my heart rate, etc. The only criticism I have is that there aren't any heart rate censors on the handle bars next to the seat. This is a really great bike, especially for the price!

  • Nine years old and still perfect

I bought this stationary bike over eight years ago, and I like it now as much as I did the first day, and the bike and the readouts including the heart rate monitor, work as well as they did the first day. I liked it from the beginning because the high quality wheel moves smoothly and the seat adjusts easily to fit different users (and my different leg lengths with different shoes. Also the pulse reading is automatic - nothing to set, nothing to wear - just grip the handle bars. And although it is sturdy and has some heft to it, I can easily move it a few feet here or there, even though I am not particularly strong.

  • Best design and best low price

I like going into my local gym and use their exercise bike. I observed and shopped for different brands of exercise bike in retail stores. This bike I purchased is the best closest design to a high-priced quality club exercise bike. The rubber handle bar lining arrived cut. I offered to send me a rubber tape. However, the manufacturer sent a new handle bar (more expensive) but for different model, hence, useless. This bike has a very stable yet comfortable seat. The seat design is my top criteria for choosing this bike.

    • How accurate was the sizing? Well designed, club-like quality.
    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Very good design, quality, & price.
    • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? The handle bar rubber lining arrived cut.

  • The Best Review

I purchased this bike in **** in 2004 .....and it's a great bike however there are some drawbacks if you have suffered a bad knee injury like I did; it might take you sometime to get use to using it. I suggest you check with your physical therapist to see if the range of motion is right! The recumbent seat was quite low and could use some type of adjustment in design (possibly raising the seat so it can be used like the "high chair" type exercise bikes). Other than that the options for hill climbing and monitor for heart rate was AAA+ on this bike. I'm going to hate selling this bike at an extreme discount due to my tiger cat ripping the fine leather designed recumbent chair!

  • Great all around machine

I've been using this bike for over 2 years with no problems. I work out at high intensity more than 2 times per week and the bike keeps up perfectly. I am 6ft tall and have never had an issue with my knees hitting the handles. The price is unbeatable and the quality is very, very good. If you are considering a recumbent bike, I strongly recommend this one for people of any fitness level.
