We mounted these on 2x6s and they fit fine. They are wider than a 2x4, but have center screw holes to account for that. They worked great for us.

Love the Sea Eagle 330 Deluxe Inflatable Kayak but in no way is it good for two people, but most excellent for one person and so much fun and easy to set up and take down and store away.

Great Family Fun - Good Boats

    Jun 29, 2011

We purchased two of the Pro Kayak sets and have found them to be wonderful additions to our outdoor fun. They are big enough for two adults, but are definitely more comfortable with one adult and one child. The oars are not the best, but aside from that I am very pleased with the quality of the product and the functionality. Since I have never used a hard sided kayak I don't have a comparison but I am happy with the tracking of this boat. We did encounter some wind and while it took effort to stay my course, it was not any more than I have found in a small aluminum fishing boat with a motor - you have to correct for the wind. They blow up easily, and are quite stable in the water - my youngest enjoys jumping out of the boat (with a life vest of course) and I eventually have to drag him back into the boat. Even hauling a 50 pound kid soaking wet over the side we don't tip. Great investment.

This kayak is awesome!! We've used it multiple times and have had a blast! I couldn't believe how good the quality is for the price. The only thing they forgot was some kind of cup holder ;) just to have a little more storage for a cooler we think it may be a good idea to get the one that is a foot longer. But the kayak is very comfy to lean back in an relax!!

Teens and adults enjoyed but quite awkward to deal with on land. Also wider so a bit more strength required than traditional, but much easier to transport and had electric pump so easy to inflate in minutes.
