For someone who collects coins, this is a fun piece to add to the collection. Didn't really know what the 3-D meant but the whole face of JFK is pushed out and is in pretty good detail. My husband really like receiving it as a christmas present.

This coin was purchased as a Christmas gift for my husband, who loves to collect coins. He was really impressed with it's overall appearance. It is really strange to see a coion that has the face protruding, it actually takes a little to get used to looking at it and touching
