The unit is easy to assemble, but it takes a few minutes to get all the bolts tightened. It is very sturdy except for the foot hold which has a slight wobble even when securely tightened. Maybe it's supposed to have a wobble. The customer service for this company is also very good to answer questions and be of help. Their rep emailed me pics to show the slant that the correctly assembled unit should have. The length is easy to adjust. There is a strap that allows the unit to slant only as far as you wish it to go. This is a good feature, but I might change the strap/buckle to a chain to make changing the setting quicker. Overall, this is a great unit with good features, like folding to put away/having handles/holding 275 lb person, etc.). It was a terrific value. I got a lot for the money.

Clear assembly instructions, took a little over an hour to put together. Easy to use and adjust. Took a few tries to get comfortable, but can now invert my 260 pounds with no trouble.

Based on the reviews I had read, I decided to purchase this model of inversion table. I really didn't know what to get, and my physical therapist recommended that I get a quality product but price doesn't always mean they are any better. I love this table! IT was easy to put together and it works very well and inversion therapy works great for my back and hip! I paid $$$ with shipping. Great price. It arrived when they said it would. The back rest had a rip on the side of it. I called the number for customer service that was on the instruction sheet. I got their answering machine! I left a message with all of the information that they asked for. They never called me back...That makes my shopping experience crap. I am afraid to buy anything else from Overstock. My wife bought sheets and comforters several times and we always told people how great it was. Now...not so sure.

I've been wanting an inversion table forever. I am a floor nurse and stand a great deal. The back pain is sometimes overbearing. I absolutely love coming in from a hard days work and stretching on the inversion table...

my husband has a bad lower back......and i have a compound compression fractures in my thoracic region and lumbar......this machine helps stretch out my piliformous sheath.....and helps relieve my pain. because of my fractures...i do have my husband next to me when i do the machine as my back is not strong enough to pull myself back up.

Actually, I had to give the inversion table away. My doctor had recommended that I get one many years ago and I just did. However, I had two discs removed from my neck and had a fusion. The doctor did not want me putting weight on my neck due to the fusion. I gave it to one of my granddaughter's husband who has a bad back and just today we received a thank you note from her that it is helping him tremendously!!! I am sure that it would have helped me also had I been allowed to use it. Sue K.

This unit is excellent for the price...less than $** with shipping. It is very sturdy. It did take a little time to assemble, but it arrived OK. The only comment I have is that the packaging could have been better, perhaps explaining some of the earlier posts regarding lost pieces, etc. It did arrive without any exterior package damage. But I thought it strange that some of the parts of the unit were scotch taped to the box itself. Now on to the unit itself. Once assembled, it was relatively easy to adjust to my height, so the unit is balanced for my weight. I have not used it daily as the instructions say, but have done so approximately every other day. I can actually feel my back discs popping back into place, and I haven't had any back issues since using it. Are there other units perhaps easier to use? Maybe. Are there other units easier to assemble? Probably. But for the price this is well worth the money.

Box weighs about 60 lbs. Took 2 people about half an hour to assemble. Very good instructions. Easy to follow. We are quite impressed with how heavy duty this table is. My 220 lb. husband feels secure during inversion. We would suggest this table to anyone wanting to try inversion. Table is quite big and heavy though making storage a bit of a problem. Right now we are content to leave it set up in the TV room.
