Toasty Hands
 from Seattle,  Oct 9, 2008

I was considering the other famouns handlebar guantlets but at $70.00 a pair I was hesitant. Then I saw these and thought "what the heck the price is right." When they arrived I was a bit dubious. They seemed lightweight. The outer surface is like a ballistic nylon and the inside is lined with polorfleece. I had to make a hole to attache my mirrors in each of them. The whole setup went on pretty easy. I have been using them since the weather turned cooler here in Seattle. Rain or shine my hands stay dry and toasty. I am wearing summer weight leather gloves when the temperatures are in the 40's and I can't believe how warm my hands are. If you ride in the cold you should give these a try.

Great solution for winter riding
from Portland, OR,  Feb 7, 2012

Early this winter I saw some guy riding on the highway with something like this, and was ready to copy the idea from scratch it was so awesome (though at the same time uber-silly looking, I must admit). Then I found these on overstock, and at overstock prices no less! It's still cold and wet here, and sometimes I pick up frost on the outside of the gauntlets. But I am not cold riding, which means I can ride through the winter.

  • How accurate was the sizing? Size fit the motorcycle, though I sort of pull the guantlet over all the buttons and switches, and wrap the velcro around the other of the mirrors. It took me a few days of fiddling to get this right.
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Well made, well stitched.
  • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Yes

I'ld probably get this
 from Missouri,  Nov 5, 2011

Haven't used them yet but they arrived true to advertisement and am sure that anything to keep a little wind off the fingers will help keep them warm.

A litle confusing
from Buffalo NY,  May 19, 2010

With no explicit instructions I'm going to have to play around to see if these will actually work on a motorcycle; I may need to alter them to accomodate the mirrors. Some instructions would have certainly helped! Before I know for sure I can make these work I can't recommend them to a friend.
