  • New, unused spa with big, visible to the eye leak

    Jan 20, 2014

    tanteb  from Washington State, Rating:1.0

I normally don't write reviews before using the product, but I normally don't receive obviously defective products that have to be repaired before we can even use them. We received the spa in a box on the 16th, put it together on the 19th and once full it immediately started leaking. After talking to the company & upon closer inspection, we discovered a visible gash of a 1/4 inch or more, not a pin prick, but a slash that should have been obvious during a quality control inspection. The company will only take it back upon receipt of photos of irreparable damage so we now have a "NEW" spa with a LARGE TAN patch....not even a blue one comparable to the liner. Had the company dealt with it differently and offered a functioning NEW replacement I would have chalked the gashed liner up to "well stuff happens" & waited to get the replacement and use it before reviewing, but..... Their choice to leave us with a brand new $949.00 defective and damaged product does not speak well of...

  • Great spa especially for the price

We are more than happy with our spa. We have owned it for a little more than a year now. My husband and I, as well as our teenagers and their friends cannot get enough. We did have a small problem with the heater, probably due to the amount of usage this thing goes through and contacted the manufacturers customer service dept. They were very friendly and helpful. We were able to get a replacement part sent to us, along with an online link on how to change the part. It was very simple, I actually did it myself because I didn't want to wait for my husband to get home from work. The spa was up and running the same day we changed the part. What a great addition to our home!

  • Inflatable hot tub

1st I read the reviews on this on a few sites. I think so of the negative ones are people trying to use this like a real hot tub. You can't expect a unit like this to be running day and night. Now I have only had it a few weeks and so far it has worked as designed. I started using it at my house but I also have a on demand water heater so I don't depend on the unit to do the main heating at all. I did just use it for the 1st time camping and it worked fine. Filled and plugged it in Fri night and when we got back from the races Sat evening it read 107 degrees. Other campers liked it too. Very quite when just heating and like a vacuum cleaner when bubbles are on but not too loud but wouldn't use bubbles late at night in a campground. Like others the temp gauge is off. It reads high. So it did have a full day to heat up and it is summer in TX so hot anyway. I real doubt it will do that well in the winter though if you use the air bubbles. It will just cool down too quickly but...

Really Happy So Far - I Wish I Had This Review

    Oct 2, 2014

Ok, I've been waiting to write this and didn't want to add it too soon. WE LOVE IT!!! That being said, here are the good, bad and uglies on the product and overall purchase experience. We were hesitant about spending $$$$$+ over the internet. We're now very happy we did, instead of buying a comparable tub for thousands more from a spa store or local dealer. So, this hot tub is resold under a few names, Home and Garden being only one. It's basically manufactured by *** out of *********, ** They are not hard to find (********************************). It is an LPI/Dr. Wellness X-12. The Dr. Wellness name has been around for a long time and has always been rated well. I found these guys had 10's across the board on one rating site. Anyway, the reviews on Overstock were pretty good, with exception of a few that were pretty bad. Some said the spa was terrible and had arrived with all sorts of problems, cracks, cuts, etc. Some went on to say that cust support was terrible and ev...

  • Home and Garden Spa

    Dec 24, 2013

    mariaedel  from VA, Rating:5.0

We are very pleased and have enjoyed our spa since it's delivery. The trucking company was very thorough and helpful and even offered to set the spa onto our deck, however, the weather did not cooperate and the ground was just too wet for them to do it. Bottom line, they offered. Overstock customer service also deserve a star for their efficiency. I would recommend this spa to anyone.
