I was very disappointed with these after wearing them twice. At first I thought how great they were as the covered my glasses and were comfortable. They worked well on a dry skiing day. The next time I went out, it was very cold, with sleet and snow. The goggles fogged up, my glasses fogged up, and I couldn't get off the slope fast enough. It's a good thing I know how to ski because I couldn't see. Also, since the goggles don't rest high on the forehead, my forehead was being pelted by the ice, which just added to my misery. I had to go to a ski shop and buy another pair of goggles. I cannot recommend these.Read More

My wife had a Pair of goggles made by a popular company many (20) years ago. The lenses got so scratched up that she could no longer use them. I have been looking for the same product since then. My wife has a small face, but because of her prescriptoin, her glasses frames are wide. We have tried all popular manufacturers over-the-glasses goggles. None of them will clear her frames. They all push her lenses against her eyes. These are the same as the ones that she had years ago.Read More

Tips on Buying Ski Goggles
A good pair of ski goggles will protect your eyes in many ways. Ski goggles block ultraviolet light, which can be stronger at high elevations than at near sea level. Sunlight also tends to be brighter when you're skiing because the light reflects off the snow. Ski and snowboard goggles will also protect your eyes by keeping wind and snow out better than sunglasses, and you won't have to worry about your goggles falling off or breaking as easily as sunglasses. And if you enjoy tree skiing, goggles are going to help protect your face and eyes from small branches.
The Best Ski Goggles for All Conditions
Just as important as your skis and poles, your ski goggles let you see better and protect your eyes from the sun, snow, wind and branches. You have several different lens options, and each lens is designed for different conditions. Knowing which lens works in what conditions will help you buy the right pair.

Buying proper ski equipment is essential if you want to really enjoy your time skiing. The seemingly endless supply of equipment available today can be confusing, but don't immediately assume that the most expensive is also the best. Spotting Scope Fact Sheet
Spotting scopes, sometimes referred to as monoculars, are small, telescope-like optics that began as tools used by the military. Today, they are widely used in the consumer market for hunting, bird watching, viewing ships, scoring shooting range targets and photography. Spotting scopes can mount on a common camera tripod and are quite suitable for daytime use. They provide more magnification than binoculars and are more portable than most telescopes.

How to Waterproof Fabric Outdoor Furniture
Most fabric outdoor furniture is water-resistant but not waterproof. Even patio furniture that is waterproof may lose its water-repelling qualities over time. To maintain your investment, fabric patio furniture should be waterproofed after cleaning or seasonally (in the spring and again in the fall, before it is stored for the winter). Not all waterproofing formulas are equal. For best results, choose a product that specifies it is for use on outdoor fabrics. And check the furniture manufacturer's instructions; using some products may harm the fabric and void your warranty, if you have one.
How to Buy a Wet Saw
A wet saw is a useful power tool for anyone who will be cutting tile. Wet saws achieve a clean cut without breaking the tile by using a diamond-encrusted blade that rotates the saw through a pan of water as it cuts. The water keeps the saw blade cool, which prevents tile breakage and helps protect the saw's motor. Some wet saws are also capable of cutting through dense metals and brick. For a single weekend project, renting a power tool such as a wet saw may be more economical than purchasing one, but if you'll be cutting tile more than a time or two, owning one of these handy power tools is worth the investment.
