I recently recieved the Hippo clubs and played with them the 1st round, I've been playing golf for 30+ years. I was satisified with all the clubs except the Driver wanted to slice, but I have a coustom driver I hit well..so the set suits me just fine.

My only concern is so far I haven't been able to hit the 1 wood all that well. Aside from the that I enjoy the clubs.

I love my Hippo set. The bag is very nice and made from decent quality materials. The rain cover is pretty cheaply made but does the job. The woods are great especially the shafts. This set is great for guys that want to get a starter set and don't want to replace them after a year as their game progresses. I have been golfing several times with these clubs since I got them and have seen improvements each time out in my game. My biggest negative is the length of the clubs. It seems like the clubs are still too short despite the "Giant" and the "XT" in the product name. I'm 6'4'' and I could use a little extra length in the shaft.

I've been very happy with my purchase. The 3 wood and the hybrid are life savers on a par 5. I've had trouble not slicing the driver...but that might be more on me than the club. The bag feels a little cheep and the shoulder strap is uncomfortable. Overall I would definitely recommend this set to another novice like myself.

The golf clubs were of good quality, lightweight, used them for the first time last weekend and was very pleased!

Great buy for starters or a solid player who wants a decent set of clubs. Clubs are well balanced and have a good feel, and the bag is ridiculously light!
