Don't be fooled, there are 10 clubs and 2 head covers which make up the set, but for my level, all the clubs i wanted were included. I love the irons, and the hybrid and wood are good, too. The driver works fine, but is a hit heavy and not good quality. It was still good enough to replace the old one I had, though. The clubs are perfect for any beginner or intermediate and are great for replacing those hand-me-down clubs at a great price.

I have golfed with the clubs for three rounds. They are really worth the price. They have a real good feel when swinging. you can't lose on this purchase.

clearly it states a 12 pieces golf set.. but accurately a 10 piece .. MISLEADING DESCRIPTION .. since LAST YEAR a previous customer address the issue also

I'm really impressed with the Hippo clubs , I recently started to play with a thirty year old set and needed to upgrade but not for a really high priced set as I am still a beginner and these clubs are perfect . They came on time and were not damaged in any way. I would highly recommened these for the average golfer.

I just started playing golf a few months ago and I bought this set not knowing what to expect. I am very pleased with these clubs and I know any begginer would say the same. When it starts being the clubs fault that I stink then I will upgrade but for now these clubs will do just fine.

First off... I really like these irons! Especially the sand wedge! All of the clubs feel good and look good. The irons feel strong and hit well, as do the 3 wood and the hybrid. The only thing about this set that feels a little lacking is the driver. The driver works fine, but it just doesn't drive the ball as well as other name brand drivers. (not that it should at this price) These are some great clubs for someone in their 1st or 2nd year of playing golf, or someone who only plays occasionally. (I think experienced players will prefer something more refined, especially from the driver) There are probably other package sets out there that are comparable (maybe include a bag/putter), but at this price point its definitely not a bad choice.

I am back on the site today buying the same clubs for my roommate as a bday gift. They're good clubs for us since we've been playing fewer than 3 yrs and were ready to move up from our hand-me-down and garage sale clubs. For what you pay - getting an entire set was a deal I couldn't find anywhere else. The shafts are a litlte short for my 6-2 frame - but fit his sub-6 frame perfectly. The club heads are fairly large and give you a bit more leniency on poor shots. My game improved tremendously with these clubs.

Ordered the Hippo irons thru Overstock.com. Fast shipping and the clubs were just what I needed. I already had 2 golf bags and this was one of the few sets that did not require the purchase of a golf bag. My only criticism was the shipping box cardboard was really thin and was torn/ripped in two spots when I received them from UPS. I would suggest using a thicker cardboard. The clubs were not damaged but potentially could have been. Thanks for a great purchase experience!

I am able to wack the golf balls really far with my shiny new clubs. I am a really good golfer now because of them. I have a bag and a putter and I threw my old clubs away that I didn't need. Now all I have is Hippo clubs. They look exactly like they do in the picture and arrive right on time. I am wholeheartedly satisfied with my recent purchase and will continue to keep wacking the golf balls until I hit them in the woods and can't find them. Bye Bye.
