I ordered these for my husband and he's thrilled with them. We live on the water and he likes to watch the boats. We have some much lower-powered binoculars that we use on our boat -- the 20x70 optics will make you sick if you're on a rocking boat -- but with these, he can get a much clearer view from our deck.
When he first opened the box, I thought the binoculars were so large that they'd be really heavy. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they're fairly lightweight, have surprisingly good optics for the price and are very easy to focus. The only drawback I can see is that if you were using them in the field for birdwatching, they might be sort of bulky to carry.
Would definitely recommend to friends!
