For the price and quality , it's worth it. Just right for my size (5 ft tall petite woman)

The front pack fell off before I even left the house. The zipper layed in pieces o the floor. During the hike, the inner zipper also broke. During the rain, the pack cover did not keep out any water and my gear was soaked by the time I reached camp. The shoulder strap neeed constant tightning and was uncomfertable most of the hike. I was hoping to use this back for my next AT hike. I think I will invest in a brand name that will back their packs performance.

This was purchased as a birthday gift for a 27 year old avid outdoorsman. He is very happy with the size, quality and features of this backpack. I will probably purchase more for other gifts.

I bought this backpack for travel and light hiking (weekend trips). I have used it on two vacations so far and it has been perfect. The best part is that I've been able to pack for 4- and 5-day trips and not have to check a bag at the airport. The bag has plenty of room, and I just removed the hip belt so there was a little less bulk and "strappage". I'll put it back in when I go on a hiking trip. It will definitely help the lower back by supporting the weight of a full pack. The detachable mini-pack was perfect for the airplane -- I put the main pack in the overhead storage and was able to have the mini in the seatback in front of me for easy access to my ipod, book, water bottle, etc. Overstock shipped quickly and I am happy with the purchase.

Bought this pack and immediately took it to vegas and the grand canyon. Small enough to fit as a carry on, large enough to fit a weeks worth of clothes. There are lots of compartments to fit things into, and the mini pack is pretty useful. I would agree with a previous comment that the mini pack is only zippered on (I didn't send it through as a checked bag because I was afraid it would come off, much like the other reviewers did) but it was perfect when we decided to leave our main packs in the car, and carry around only the necessary stuff. Comfortable fit, nicely padded straps and hip belt, and lots of straps (a blessing and a curse) for compression. This is a very nice pack, most useful for 4-7 days of camping/hiking or vacations.

Unlike similar High Peak backpacks I've used before, this one features a minipack with flimsy, non-padded straps that is only connected to the main pack by one zipper (not clips) -- which is, I found out, not very secure. Much to my chagrin, the mini-pack got lost somewhere in airport baggage claim before I even got the chance to get outdoors!

I have yet to use this backpack, as I am trekking through India in the spring. However, it seems to be a good backpack for the money, especially when you compare to some top brands or when you shop at a big box store.

Great product! Exactly what I was looking for to hike through the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco!
