A Nice Tent- Buy It!
chilcat  from Indiana,  Sep 18, 2009
I finally got to use this tent last night in the yard. It seems to be a very nice tent. It was kind of chilly and we sttayed warm in the tent. Putting it up was also easy, but having a second person would help. Overall, this will be a good buy and a good tent.

Very Pleased with this Tent!
llamadu  from Seattle,WA,  Aug 20, 2009
I have used this tent during all seasons and in different types of weather and different types of environments. I usually camp with one other person and a Labrador and this gave us plenty of room. I'm sure another person would have fit just fine. The flooring of this tent is very durable, and showed no signs of damage from excited puppy feet after several uses.Setting up the tent has been pretty easy. I don't always stake all of the tie outs when there isn't wind, but let me tell you, the long tie-outs are very nice during wind. Like most tents this is difficult to set up in high winds (70 mph winds at the Ocean in Washington state in December), but it actually stayed up, in place and dry inside once set up.Very happy! Family members have purchased similar sized and quality tents for well over twice the price-- and I wouldn't trade them!

Good Value
Anonymous  from San Francisco, CA,  Jul 24, 2009
I got this tent and used it right away. Definitely worth the price. Putting it together is pretty intuitive if you've ever put a tent together before. I didn't even read the instructions and threw this puppy up in about 5 minutes, in the dark no less. The rain guard is a little cumbersome, but it all fits nicely in the bag they provide. I gave no rating for durability because I've only used it a couple of time so far...we'll see how it fairs after Burning Man.

worth the hassle
longleggzs  from Tampa, FL,  Aug 20, 2008
Took this tent to Pikes Peak, Co for the annual hill climb race. Being a Floridian I am not an avid camper but have had some experience with camping before. It took me 2 hours to figure out how to set up this tent. The part that had me confused was the blue anchors that are literally all over the tent. I was baffled as to how to anchor them w/o the cords being 3 feet away from the tent. Once that mess was straightened out the tent was rock solid. Camping at 11,000 feet it tends to get windy. The tent held strong and had no problems with the strength of the wind and was a good 10 degrees warmer than outside. The porch area is what really sold me, it is perfect for keeping camping gear and shoes/boots when inside the tent. Wished that the floor of the porch was covered, but a tarp does the job. Tent is big enough to have a queen size air mattress inside. Little pockets inside the tent were convenient for flashlights and water bottles. The tent has its own carrying bag that is small and light weight. Was able to put the tent back in the bag w/o frustration when packing up. I would recommend giving this tent a test run to iron out all the nuances before actually using it, avid camper or not.

Kept me dry
acecat28  from Jackson, MI,  May 15, 2008
I received this tent about 2 weeks ago. I just went camping for 4 days and it rained for 2 of those days. I was amazed at how well the rain fly kept my daughter and I so dry. This tent was easy to set up and tear down. I love my new tent!
