Heavy-duty Pro Boxing Gloves/ Punching Bag

Four stars on the value of the bag and gloves; negative one star on the chains that you have to use to hang the bag. Overall, a poor package deal. Not terrible, but not "fair" either. The bag is difficult to fill with the chains on - which is a problem because you cannot remove them as they are pre-attached, and welded (albeit poorly) closed. Still, I slowly filled the bag but the o-ring that the chains attached to broke while hanging it because of the shoddy welding. I had to forcibly remove the chains and go to the hardware store to buy a solution. I'd rather the product didn't come with chains than have unsafe, difficult to deal with chains already sealed to the bag.

I read a couple of reviews before purchasing this product, one in particular, that was not to happy witrh his purchase. But I have always had pretty good success on here so preceded on after reading the product details very carefully. After recieving this bag/gloves set, it was just what it said it would be and its a nice addition to my personal gym at home. The gloves are great and the bag is durable enough for any begginer to mid range boxing workout . The quality is perfect. I wish the bag was bigger but what else did I expect for what I was paying for it. Threw a couple of old goose down feather comforters in it , and old pillow and the rest with old tshirts and it filled out fine.

For the price......... this is an exceptional bag. The first thing you should ask yourself is how you are going to fill your bag. I went with patches of old clothes and fabric for mine. I went to my local sewing shop and got FREE :o scrap fabric. I reccomend doing this because you will quickly grow tired of cutting up clothes and rags, and you need A LOT. My friend helped me pack it and it took us about 1 or 2 hours. I also put sand into large ziplock bags, reinforcing them with duct tape, and centered them in the middle of the fabric. This adds weight and stiffness to your bag (be carefull to avoid letting the sand bags touch the sides of the bag because they are extremely hard). The bag appears to be sewn together very well and with care should last a long time. Also we named the bag Steven, it seemed to suit him. I saw the gloves as a freebie, not expecting much from them, they were actually very good as well, just a bit stiff.

When I first opened the box (about twice the size of a shoebox), I was very dissapointed. I hadn't read the fine print to see that you had to fill the bag. But after seeing that all you had to do was fill it with old clothes, rags, etc., we did that. We are now having a blast with it. The bag is slightly thinner than I expected, but for the price, its a great deal. I'd reccommend this product. The boxing gloves are good quality as well.
