The bear is very cute soft and easy to put together. My kid loves it because he can get on it without help (low enough) but the bear's batterry operated "noise" is terrible and scary. When you press the ear it sounds like full volume static or a screeching yelling sound. We took the battery out because the noise scared both me and my kid. Otherwise, great play toy.

I would not recommend. I am going to send this back for a full refund. Was a cute and different idea from the rocking horse but quality is terrible.
