Each solid jade piece is beautifully detailed. Purchased as a gift and very pleased. Now if I could just find a matching playing board!

Great product for the price! Beautiful! As others have said the board could be a little better, but otherwise I'm completely satisfied!

I love this set - the quality is spot on for the money. We bought a glass checkerboard to go with it, and do not use the enclosed checkerboard - the glass checkerboard with this box of chess pieces is pleasingly decorative and sits out in the living room on an end table, rather than on the shelf with the kids' other board games, ensuring more play time by the kids, which is definitely a plus.

I expected a lot better quality with this item. The case was very poor and cheap looking. The workmanship of not only the case was bad but the chessmen were also very very poor to look upon. Consider carefully before you purchase this item.
