This thing seems to work well. It has never failed to open. I have its bracket mounted underneath a work bench and the whole thing is kind of wobbly. Much more secure when mounting from the side but that was not a option for me.

    This is a very nice tool for keeping your gun safe from little ones! I only ranked it as good because sometimes I have to scan my finger more than once for it to recognize me. Have not had to open the SpeedVault in a hurry (emergency) YET! I pray there is no delay if that ever happens!

  • Nice safe, once you figure out how to program it.

    This safe nicely fits my Kahr PM9. A sub-compact semi-auto. It has enough room to fit the extra magazine too. It also fits a Ruger full size P89 9MM. But both of them will NOT fit together. This safe is really only for 1 handgun. This light is a nice feature too. Opens easily & without any problems. The directions are terrible! I was on the phone with customer service (on a lengthy hold) when I got frustrated & just started swiping my finger over & over across the sensor. The directions say to swipe it twice, but it consistanly takes 4 swipes to program fingerprints. I programmed 2 prints & my husband did 2 of his--same thing, 4 swipes, not too. Hope that helps someone.
