Customer Reviews
good buy for the money. Needed something to get our daughter's bike to college 1000 miles away, and it served it's purpose well.
For the price, not a bad carrier. It is a little shakey in the hitch mount. Not recommended for bikes with suspension due to fit.
This carrier needs some tweaking and minor modifications to be a viable product. I had to shim the top part with thin washers to stiffen it up so the bike would not wobble around. The receiver part does not use a pin but the included step bolt works quite well if you put a little anti seize or grease on it and screw it in all the way until very snug, then insert the pin clip. The rubber bike holders slide all over when traveling so I had to put shaft collars on each side of the rubber where I wanted it to stay. After all this, it works great.
This is a terrible bike carrier. it moves every where, is not stable and it looks like the bikes are going to fall out. personally this is the worse item i ever bought. it has scratch my veichle from moving to much. worse hitch ever..

I didn't expect this to be great since it was so cheap, but this thing is a piece of junk. The part that inserts into the receiver on my hitch had a hole drilled in it for the pin, but they put a nut inside this hole and then just hammered the outside around it so it would stay. Not sure if this is what made the inserted part the wrong size, but if I were to hammer this thing into the hitch (which I would have to do to get it in far enough to put the pin through) I would never be able to get it out again. So.... I don't even know if it will haul bikes. I assume it would, but until I grind some of the size down on the inserted part (and then repaint), I won't know for sure...
