My wife purchased this product for me for Christmas. I took it out of the box, and was actually happy with the appearance of the product and how small it was. It won't shine very far. You wouldn't be able to use it to Fox hunt or nothing, but it would be nice around the house or working on your vehicle. After it was charged it lasted about an hour and when i recharged it, and took it off charge it won't work. So I only got to use it once. Very dissatisfied with it. Don't waste your money.

I was looking for a nice rechargeable spotlight for shining in the water (looking for fish, lobsters, etc. This did not fill the bill because it is not powerful enough, but it's wonderfully lightweight and as the ad says, it goes and goes without recharging. It lasted much longer than the claim, and was great for not wearing my arm out by having to hold a heavy spotlight. I'm guessing that the equivalent candlepower is 250,000 or so and I need a million or better. I would LOVE to have an LED spotlight with that kind of power. This unit will ultimately live in my car.

I was VERY disappointed when I got this light. It is sure no spotlight! I haven't even opened it, and not sure what I will do with it. I got it as a gift, thinking it was a spotlight, when in reality it's a glorified flashlight! Even the picture on the package shows a guy using it to light up some pipes he is working on. It's very small, nothing like a true spotlight would be. In all fairness, it may be bright, but it is not what I expected, nor wanted. Be aware that it is not something you are going to want to take out in the wild and expect it to light up the terrain!
