I've used these things for years when winter camping with my BSA Venturing Crew. Throw one in the foot of your sleeping bag and another under your hips (shoulders if you're a guy). In the morning put them in your coat pockets and hands are warm all day. I've actually had these things stay warm for 40 hrs, so they're good for a second night. Read the instructions carefully, as it's VERY important to give them access to cold fresh air for at least 20 minutes before you put them in a bag or pocket. LOVE THEM!

There's a big temperature difference during day and night where we camped and traveled to. These little warmers really come in handy, keep you warm as you walk around and in your sleeping bag! Highly recommend this to anyone who loves the outdoors.

These 24 hour warmers outlast their shorter term cousins and are great for the outdoors person who needs to ward off frigid temperatures. If you liked the old ones, you will love the 24 hour variety. I am a hunter and I find they keep be comfortable for a full morning in the woods.
I purchased these hand warmers for my two daughters going to college in a cold climate. They said that the were really great to keep in their car to use when they have to park their car and walk across campus. Also...they took them skiing and the warmth lasted longer than they expected.....they could reply on them to last the whole day of skiing. They also said they were great to use on sore muscles. I'm buying another box as they have also shared them with friends....They love them.
If you love 'toe warmers', you'll love these! They last at least 24hrs. I used them when i went camping. I would throw one in the bottom of the sleeping bag & my feet stayed warm all night! I also put them under the covers of my dogs' beds to keep them warm. They loved it too on those cold nights! It kept them so warm that they didn't need to crawl into my sleeping bag during the night to keep warm like they usually do!! But keep in mind that these do give off heat, so you'll want to have something between the heater & your pet. They don't have adhesive, so you can't "attach" it to anything. Still worth every penny!!! I'll probably get more very soon!
