I found this product most helpful for soothing pain from arthritis in my lower back. The heat lasts at least 12 hours, just as it claims. One has to be very careful about the intense heat the pack generates and make sure that there are at least three layers of cloth in-between it and the skin. Otherwise, you could get a burn.

These warmers are not as warm as some other brands I have purchased in the past. Also please note, these warmers are almost twice the size of normal hand warmers and may not fit in smaller gloves like traditional hand warmers.

This is an awsome product. I use them for cold weather golf and fishing. The heat lasts for 18 holes easily and stays warm in my pocket for hours after, I am addicted to them!

I keep these at our ski house so I have a supply for family and friends. much cheaper than buying them in the lodge for $2-3 each.
