For anyone who hates the cold because of freezing feet and hands these are for you. Being outside many times a day to do barn chores has made for many miserable winters. I have terrible circulation to my feet so no matter what boots I wear it doesn't make any difference. These packets provide plenty of heat for about 10 hours. They can get too warm for bare skin so putting them between two pairs of socks works great. It does mean wearing boots a little oversized to fit comfortably but well worth breaking the cycle of cold painful toes! The only negative I can think of, is the iron mixture inside the packet tends to clump together. This does not appear to be a symptom of this brand but of the type product itself. This characteristic might prevent the user from placing the product under foot which is a minor point.
