Dunlop Tour Series Formost Wood and Iron Sets

I'm a beginner golfer, and these clubs are my first own set. So far, I've been to the driving range and I've played 18 holes. They are holding up fine, but it is taking me some time to get used to them. The driver is much nicer than I thought it would be. It would've been nice if a putter and sand wedge were included, but I still think it's a great value for the quality of clubs. I have no real complaints about the clubs since most of my shots aren't accurate in the first place, but my friend tried out the driver and he was surprised they included one of this quality for the price of the set.. I gave 5 stars for appearance and value because you can't get a name-brand set of clubs for this price. Also, I don't think it mentions it in the product details but these clubs are for right-handed men.

An occasional golfer, I've been playing with my old but reliable starter set for approximately 5 years. Was looking for a new set and stumbled upon this awesome deal. Clubs arrived impressively fast and in perfect condition. Left work early and headed for the driving range. (Also ordered a bag from this site). There is no putter in this set. Grips are average. Immediately noticed nice weightiness of irons. Short irons swing smoothly and the weight provides just the right amount of bite for clean divots. Longer irons seem to have smaller sweet spot, although getting accustomed to your new set is part of the process. Fairway woods are not oversized, making me feel uneasy until I swung them. Again, sweet distance with reduced effort, but not yet comfortable with club heads. I would expect graphite on all woods at retail, but not upset about it given current deal. Driver is light as air, graphite shaft is sturdy, makes a sweet "ping" on the ball strike, and has a forgiving sweet spot. No telling whether this set will improve my score, but the practice will be fun again with this shiny new set.

Have yet to use the set. Would have liked a bag with them but he is picking out one separately. He says the putter could be better but hey, its a starter set!

Bought these clubs because I haven't played in 4 years or so and my old clubs are my first set that I had customed fitted in '91. The sorta bad: When I got the clubs, I was a little disappointed because the irons were a 1/2" shorter than my old ones. However, some would argue that you have better control with shorter clubs. The good: The new irons are heavier than my old ones, which I like. The woods are sweet. The grips are nice. Much better grips than my old clubs, which were pretty good. Look pretty good too. I played these the other day for the first time. Took me a liitle bit to get going. But I haven't played in 4 years either. I really like the clubs though. I'm going to need to hit the driver at the range a little bit, but then again, I've always struggled with the driver. The irons are my game. Unlike my old irons, these irons do not feel dead or vibrate on mishits. They feel great. I'm really looking forward to the season with these bad boys. Unbelievable value. Nice job Dunlop.
