The golf balls came in two bags, and the zipper was broken on one bag. One bag was for my grandson, the other bag, was for our use, so the broken zipper was not a big deal, but could of been if they were for two grandson's.

Used balls were in the exact condition I expected...of the 48 balls, approximately 20% came with visible scuffs. As long as you dont mind a variety of pre-labeled balls with various numbers, this is an excellent buy

You get what you pay for. Some of the golf balls were in great shape, others only survived 1 good swing! What can I say. It was a good price for 72 used golf balls!

This is the first thing I have ever had to return. They were just the wrong number ball for what he uses. I love Overstock.com. Tell all my friends about it all the time.

These balls are mostly marked lady's. It worked for my goofy golf tournament but may not work if you wanted to use these for men.

I buy these used balls all the time.If you think a tiny scratch will change the flight path of your ball then maybe you should be on tour with a sponsor that will give your balls for free.

Excellent golf balls, many new simply marked for an outing and never used. Others cleaned up nicely

Yup, all 48 balls are with me now. An eclectic variety of Nike Ones, used but in good condition (for the most part).

I received my "high end" Pro V 1 golf balls today and they are used NXT Tour balls. I advise that no one buy balls from this company.

I was surprised by the quality of these balls. I was expecting a lot of marked and scuffed up balls but they were pretty clean and only a couple of them had some slight scuffing. I use these to hit into the net at the house. I may start taking some of these out to the course because of how good they look.

Not sure why people are buying used balls at under forty four cents per ball and expecting great quality. The cheapest I have found new is about forty eight cents per ball.

Most of the balls say "Practice" on them or have corporate logos. A lot of them have the white chipped off to where I can see the next layer down. Some are scuffed up and some are discolored. They make it sound like these are lightly used balls, but I am pretty sure most have been banged around quite a bit on a driving range or found in ponds. I would not recommend these to anyone. Maybe I got a bad batch, but I doubt it. There might be 15 balls out of the 72 that would be up to the standard they are advertised. They need to either up their standard or drop the price. Either way they need to quit lying about the "Recycled golf balls offer the same playability as if they were new out of the sleeve" line. With the scuffs, dings, and beat up balls that have "Practice" printed on them - these are not like new at all. I am dissappointed. I understand the used part - but they didnt say anything about chipped and abused golf balls being in the bag...

I got 147 balls in my package. 48 Titleist Pro V1 refurbished balls, close to new condition. With many other brands, such as Taylormade, Bridgestone, and others, in very good condition! Only 5 of them have minor scratches and faded surface, but still playable. I will use them to fly over water. With the averagely cost under a quarter a ball, this is a great bargain! I am a new golfer, with HC at high end of 20s, 2 round games per week. If I lose 2 or 3 balls in one round, I would lose 20 balls a month averagely. Such bargain balls are exactly what I need.

These are just what they say they are, USED Big Bertha golf balls. Not the newer Big Bertha Diablo. Some are more used than others, but all are good enough for me. About 70% of them had a company Logo on them. If you are a beginner, but want to use the same make of ball every shot, this is a good way to go. If you are picky, buy new.

The service and shipping from Overstock.com was flawless, but I was very disappointed in the actual product. If you are a golfer, you know the value of ProV1 golf balls. However these "recycled" ProV1s are at least 6-8 years old because all 48 balls I received were "version 392" Pro V1s which have not been manufactured in years (I believe they were last manufactured in 2003-04, but am not certain). Also, there were some balls labled as "Practice." They do not meet the advertised criteria as stated on the web site . . . "Recycled golf balls offer the same playability as if they were new out of the sleeve" (these balls are far from this quality). It also states . . . "Balls are mid-grade quality with some blemishes and player markings." These balls are low quality simply because of their age. You can't even find these balls on the course anymore. I was going to return them, but did not want to pay the cost of shipping 48 golf balls, and will use them purely for practice purposes. I would not plan on using these golf balls for tournaments or when you will be playing serious rounds of golf. I will emphasize that Overstock.com would gladly refund my money with a return, but I am choosing to use the balls for practice only.

My "bucket" had 21 barely used - nice condition 5 with extremely minor cosmetic defects 10 that I believe were submerged (yellowed a little) all in good condition 5 I would only play on par 3's due to slight scuffs 9 I could use for wedge practice as the covers had damage at spots 3 with custom numbers 15,56,99 Had the 9 balls with cover damage been able to be played on a course I would have tagged this deal as Excellent, but with allmost 20% of the balls not fit for play I can only tag it as Good. Shipping was 4 business days - less than the advertised 5-10

This package delivered a mishmash of "yellow" golf balls of various hues. Some had obvious manufacturer's defects; for example one ball was one-half yellow, and one-half off-white. Some looked as if they'd lived a hard life of cart-path impacts before getting wet and really muddy. But all one hundred balls were suitable for my use in practising chipping. And some individual balls were good brands, in good enough physical condition to go back out on the course for play in the autumn.

These golf balls were perfect for me. I am a weekend golfer with a 22 handicap. I can't tell the difference between these and brand new, unused balls. These are the brand I normally use. They represent savings with no impact on my game.

Upon receipt of these balls they looked good in the package; however, once you get them on the tee you notice that they are discolored meaning they have been sitting around for a long, long time. They don't respond when hit, pretty much dead balls. I will not purchase them again.

Be sure not to make the same mistake I did if you are looking for a nice new pack of golf balls to give somebody as a gift... The title says you get a "pack of 24" which sounds like they are... well... packaged in a pack. Which I took to mean that they would be unified with a box or other such packaging that labeled them with their brand name, product info etc. but this is not the case... I'm not sure what they mean by a "pack of 24" because these were not packaged (unless you call placing them loose in a plain brown cardboard box and affixing a mailing label to it a "pack of 24"). That's how I received them. there is no mention in the title that these are recycled, refurbished or used. The picture shows a pristine, sparkling, brand spanking new golf ball too. So between the picture and the title I thought I was buying a new pack of 24 golf balls. Be sure to hit the "more" button and read on further down to the very last sentence in the fine print where they finally mention that they are not new. Make no mistake that these are used golf balls that don't look a thing like the picture. There were scuffs and scratches and pen marks on many of them and it was not at all what I expected. I felt mislead by the picture and the title but I guess the bottom line is that I should have read the full description because the item was not at all what it was visually presented to be and the title is a lie by omission.

Some of the best and only golf balls that I use day in and day out.
Choosing the right golf ball can add yards to your drive and maybe even help eliminate your slice. Knowing what golf ball is best for your style of game is a lot like knowing which golf club to use and when. Just because your favorite pro uses a specific ball, or has his name on the box, doesn't mean that golf ball is right for you. Things to consider when choosing the right ball for you include core and construction, your golf style and even the golf course you're playing.
Recycled sports equipment can help you reduce the impact your hobby has on the environment. When you hit the links, you can play a greener game with your choice of golf balls by choosing recycled. Recycled golf balls are actually just slightly used golf balls that have been collected, sorted, cleaned, and resold at a low price. This guide will help you understand where recycled golf balls come from and what effect they can have on your game.
If you have a professional caddie, you might not need a golf course GPS. However, if you don't have a golf caddie, a golf GPS is the next best thing, if not better. A golf GPS will let you download maps of golf courses, and it can give you the distance from where your ball is to the front, back and center of the green. Most golf GPS units will also give you distances and locations of bunkers and water hazards. So it is easy to see why a golf GPS might be your most valuable piece of golf gear.
Your golf bag is more than just a receptacle for your golf clubs and golf balls. It should be an organized home to your golf equipment. By keeping your golf bag organized, it will be easier for you to compete because you will know where everything is and you won't have to search for anything in the middle of a round of golf.
Golf gloves are designed to give you a firmer grip on the golf club. A firm grip will not only keep your club from flying into the nearest water hazard if you take a wild swing, but it will give you better control of your ball direction. A golf glove is a wise investment to improve your golf game, but before you purchase a golf glove, take the time to learn more about them.
Before you can use your irons effectively, you need to understand what they are. In golf there are two types of clubs: woods and irons. More than any other piece of golf equipment, golf clubs affect the size of your golf handicap -- and the size of your wallet -- so you want to make sure you find golf clubs that are right for your golf game. Nowadays, it is difficult to figure out which set of golf clubs is the right set. Golf club shafts used to be made from hickory but are now made from steel or carbon fiber (called graphite). Woods are no longer wood and irons are no longer iron; they're made from modern metals and alloys. This golf clubs buying guide will help you understand the characteristics and varieties of modern golf clubs, which will help you know how to buy golf clubs that best meet your needs.
