For the money you can't beat it. It's kinda on the small size. I don't see anyone over 6' really liking this too much. The quick release pin (so you can fold the thing up) is stuck, or doesn't release quickly, so it's not that easy to store as I was hoping.Basically if you want a cheep sturdy bench, buy this:)
Bought this after reading reviews so I knew what I was getting into. I needed an incline/decline bench to go with my selectteck dumbbells.Pros:- The frame is solid. Although I'm not sure I'd dumbbell press over 80lbs on this.- Price was right.Cons:- Foot padding is cheap and will probably fall apart real soon. But I knew that going into the purchase.- I was hoping to set the bench to incline and stand behind it to do preacher curls, but the seat is too low to attempt it. And I'm 5'8"
Did a lot of shopping before buying a workout bench, as I needed something that was collapsible, and small for my small apartment. I like it because it is just that, in addition to attractive and sturdy. Multi-positions are great for my exercise routine. Also came with instruction poster for doing exercises. Couldn't beat the price, as I saw a lot of lesser benches costing much more. Well stiched with a classy look that makes it flattering to display even when not in use.
- Did the product fit true to size? Yes
- How is the quality of the product? Excellent
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Yes
I bought this as a gift for someone and they use it everyday. It was easy to assemble and does not take up much space. The only thing keeping this from being a "5" is I cant seem to figure out how to fold it down so I can have more space when not in use. I am 5'2" and its perfect for my hieght, would not recommend for someone taller than 5'4".
Finding the Golds gym bench was great. I had searched my local personal for sale blogs and I couldnt even find a used bench for this price. It took about 45 minutes to put together. The directions were very easy to ready and understand. The Golds gym bench works very well and is just the right size for the area that I work out in at my home. The seats are well padded and seems to be very sturdy for the size overall. I will be looking for other Golds Gym products in the future.
Perfect for our needs. Well packaged for easy assembly. No complaints.
Good product, sturdy and mat is comfortable. Unit is small so I would not recommend it for tall people (around 6 ft.). Buy if looking for a product to use with weights that are not too heavy (weights you can lift by yourself without a spotter)
Easy to assemble - Sturdy product using high quality material for the bench. The only drawback is it wasn't clear it was designed for women, I am a man 5"11 and 180 lbs - so it's a tad bit shorrt for me, and I can't use it with the leg bar attachments installed. But great product and I would highly recommend at such at this cheap a price
This bench is just right for me. It's easy to maneuver and seems quite sturdy. It might be a little small for someone who is tall, (over 5'10), I'm 5' 4 and 1/2". I would also like one or two more incline positions to choose from. Overall, it's a very nice bench.
Love this little bench, prefect for use with light weights, doesn't take up much speace. Easy to put together. I recommend it.
Great purchase! I was looking for basic functionality (a bench and chair in one) at a low cost, and I got exactly that. Absolutely no complaints, the decision and process was effortless. Thanks!
This bench is fairly sturdy. It is has proved to be a value addition to my workout collection.
Pros: Can't beat the price Sturdy Easy to assemble Did i mention the price? Cons: I found the backboard too short for my frame so my head hangs over the edge on incline presses (I'm 5'10") Can't use dumbbells over 50 lbs This was definitely a bench more geared towards the ladies but overall usable
verry nice! easly put together. i told my co-worker about it and he purched one from overstock...comfortable on the legs for decline situps. nice value for the $....
This ia a great item for an at home gym. Easy to put together.
It is very attractive and was easy to put together. It is not though for a large person. I would say no bigger than 200 pounds or 5 foot 10.
The Gold Gym utility bench was very easy to assemble. It looks nice and is stable. This bench will be fine for my average wt. workout. Are there better ones out there? Yes. Anywhere near this price? NO.
Put it together in 15 minutes......sturdy and well made.
The bench works fairly well. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody over 6'1 though. Incline and flat are what i use most, the decline works but remember that the seat part does not have an option of declining. The only thing that was a trouble with this was assembly. The main frame of the bench wasn't welded properly on mine and we employed the use of the hammer to fix up the alignment.
it serves the purpose....a tad small for anyone over 5'7" but its rather easy to assemble.
