Do I understand that this tent can be set up with out problems inside? I realize it would anchor in the ground--just want to make sure it can be used inside also.

It can be set up indoors , but you can’t stake it down indoors.

Can you use this indoor w/o spiking it into the ground?

Yes, but the spikes would anchor it to the ground, and help prevent it from blowing away.
