Love this!!! Sturdy walls and quality parts. Couldn't ask for more. This is my first dollhouse and can't wait to see it finished. Going to order another one for grand-kids for Christmas. Make sure you build in a room that has doors that are wide or you will never be able to move it around or get it out of the house. I'm using 3/4" plywood 4' x 4' (finished on one side) for the foundation.Grandkids are already surfing the net looking for furniture for THEIR dollhouse. HA HA
I have just begun the assembly and have the foundation complete. As some others have said the instructions are perhaps not as complete as one would like.I don't think this is a kit that a novice would find satisfying. Some prior experience in model building would be a distinct advantage. With that being said, I think this will wind up being a nice house when completed.Overstock's price was the lowest around and the low shipping is great(others charged $30 to ship this 53 lb kit!).Oh yes, the estimate of time to complete was 40 hrs(Ithink), and this is going to be a much longer project than that because it takes a great amount of care just to remove the pieces from the 38 sheets of parts.I'm very satisfied with Overstock and with Greenleaf(the manufacturer).
They could do a better job on the instructions,I don't think any person could build this without some construction back ground.

I'VE NEVER BUILT ANYTHING BEFORE IN MY LIFE AND FOUND THIS QUITE EASY AND FUN! GREAT CONSTRUCTION AND DETAIL. VERY LARGE, MAKE SURE YOU CAN GET IT OUT OF THE ROOM YOU ARE BUILDING IT IN!

FINALLY, AT 65 YRS OLD, I HAVE MY OWN DOLLHOUSE. iT CONTAINED COMPLETE AND EASY TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS.I THEN PURCHASED ANOTHER DOLLHOUSE FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER. MY SON, HIS WIFE AND MY GRANDDAUGHTER ARE HAVING FUN PUTTING IT TOGETHER AS A FAMILY. I WOULD RECOMMEND OVERSTOCK A LOWER PRICED STORE THAN OTHER SITE. ALSO THE SHIPPING WAS QUICK AND ARRIVED IN GOOD CONDITION
