  Bought this for - wait for it, a Shotgun Wedding. It was one of the table centerpieces. Lots of fun for all ages. It exceeded my expectations for fun factor and the quality is great. Its something we will be playing with for years to come. Its far more interesting than a zen garden and more fun than a jelly jar of flowers.

  This was a great game. It shipped reasonable quick with free shipping. It contains cards and instructions to allow for a quick setup for your first game. I'd recommend watching the Race for the Galaxy Tutorials on Youtube, parts 1-3 before you get started. Also, it helps to think of your consume powers on the Consume phase as ships. Your planets produce goods but they can only reap the benefits of them if a "ship" comes to pick them up. If you only have 2 "ships" but 4 planets that produce goods, then you can only "pickup" 2 goods.
