Bought this scope as a starter unit for my son and I to stargaze at night. Easy to set up, took about 10 minutes right out of the box. Directions on how to set up and align the star finder scope was easy. The CD with the constellations and cooridnate maps was nice too. I look forward to using this more as the nights become warmer and my son is out of school and can stay up later. I would recommend this scope as a way to get started one step beyong just using the naked eye or even binoculars. Well worth the price.

My son was so disappointed by this telescope. The quality and performance of this scope is substandard.

I purchased this for my 11 year old son - easy to assemble, great product for reasonable price, easy to use. Was a bit confused about why images were upside down, then to be told that I should have learned in Elementary school that images through a telescope do appear that way unless an adapter is purchased. So, great for looking into the night skies, but can't look across fields at objects during daylight hours or everything is upside down!

I bought this telescope for my 7 year old son. He was very happy with it and could not wait to use it. Though it is a reflecting telescope and not a refracting,(can't see as much detail) it has provided he AND I with hours of enjoyment. On a clear night, you can see ALL of the stars. I would recommend this telescope to anyone out there who is just discovering astronomy.

Excellent product of better quality that I was able to locale locally at even higher prices. The directions were clear and concise once we dicided to read them and follow the step process ..Walla! it worked. We spun our wheels for a while half reading and half guessing on what to do until we went back to the beginning and sollowed all the steps in order and now realize we might have to purchase another one or install a timer and only allow a set time for each family member to use it. Adults, teens , children and even toddlers what to see the lights in the beautiful sky..

The telescope came with a bolt that was stripped. We emailed the company with the provided email address and never ecieved a response. Luckily the piece was easliy replaced so we fixed the problem ourselves.

It is nice, but the instructions are not clear on how to focus and use it, still have not figured it out and it has been 2 weeks now.

I bought this as a gift for my grandkids. I was told it was relatively easy to assemble and well made. They were all very happy.

My Son was fairly excited to get a telescope for Christmas, but now is disappointed he's been unable to use it. The telescope doesn't seem to pick up any images except for a blurry gray blob. In general the appearance of the equipment is ok, but we are hoping we can figure out what is wrong with the unit.

Easy to put together! My kid loves it, I love it too but But kid does not give me a lot of time to use it. I going to order another.

I PURCHASED THE GALILEO ASTRONOMICAL REFLECTOR TELESCOPE ON NOV 26 2007.I WAS TOLD YOU COULD SEE THE MOON WITH THE TELESCOPE.... I WAITED FOR THE FULL MOON TO APPEAR...AND I COULD NOT SEE THE MOON AS I HOPED ...I AM THEREFORE SENDING EVERY THING BACK...WHICH IS WITHIN MY 30 DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE......

I bought this telescope thinking that I will be able to see the moon and the stars better but I can see them better with my naked eyes. I don't know if that's because the lens or what. I have 20mm and 6mm lens. It's good for watching the top of the tree, birds nests, and something that stays very still during the day time.
