FOR A REFURBISHED ITEM IT LOOK LIKE NEW. THE CONDITION AND ZIPPER ARROUND THE CASE WOKS PERFECTLY. EVERYTHING I BUY AT OVERSTOCK HAS BEEN GREAT.
This was my first time dealing with Overstock.com, and i must say that I am 110% satisfied. The Shipping was standard ground and only cost $2.95. Anyway , I had just purchased a $350.00 Galileo telescope and was looking for a good case at a good value. I got exactly that. The minor cosmetic damage (as advertised) turned out to be a slight rip on the inner tripod case (which i repaired in about 3 seconds with a iron- on patch). The case is very sturdy and arrived with : 3 small canvas zippered pouches for small telescope accessories . (They're fantastic for my lenses and compass etc.) , A well- padded ,double- zippered telescope tube pouch that is formed to the telescopes dimensions including the eyepiece-lens receptacle.Another well padded , double- zippered formed tripod pouch that fits the tripod exactly. The case also has 8 anchored interior belts 2 for the tripod,2 for the telescope tube, and 4 for 2 of the three small accessory pouches, to keep the items from boucing around in the case. The belts are well anchored and easy to work and i feel very confident that they will protect the delicate portions of the telescope from bouncing around . All in all a great deal i will be using Overstock.com again !
