Galileo Telescope
 from OK,  Jan 7, 2008

This is definitely worth the money. I have seen things that i never knew about. I have definitely gained a real interest for what is beyond the stars. It was definitely beyond what i ever thought. My husband and I both have spent many hours looking at the different planets and some of the galaxies it is beautiful.

Galileo Telescope
from Elizabethton, Tennessee,  Mar 31, 2008

I can see the craters on the moon! When my boyfriend gets our longitude and latitude in the system, we will know what the overhead stars and planets are in our location. Very pleased!!!

Scoped
 from Arizona,  Aug 1, 2009

Not bad for the price. If you want a starter scope this will get you going. A lot of plastic and composit parts, treat it with TLC as it can break easily. Make sure you tighten the tripod legs good as they have a tendancy to slip. Also the remote focussing is very picky as to where you aim the remote. You have to hit just the right spot or nothing happens.

Good deal!
from Las Vegas, NV,  Aug 11, 2008

This is probably the best deal I have ever found. The variety of lenses adds to the value. It came packed nicely and has so-so instructions on putting it together but it really isn't hard to figure out. We had trouble with the auto focuser but the batteries that came with it were obviously old - we replaced them and it works just fine. Really good quality of telescope and magnification for viewing the moon and other planets and stars. If you want to get a close view of Mars or other planets farther away you might want to look at a more expensive one that has more magnification and better stabilizers but this is a great starter scope! I would totally recommend this to my friends!
