I purchased this for my brother. He lives with me, and I heard him mentioned he'd like to have a tripod for Christmas. I had already purchased his Christmas gifts, but I checked with Overstock anyway and saw that this one had a high rating and an unbelieve price, so I ordered it. It arrived promptly, looks well made and you won't beat the price anywhere. As far as durablility, that remains to be seen, but I anticipate no problems.
