    • Tour du HAPPY

Received within 2 days of ordering. Put together in minutes, instructions were great, not many parts to assemble. It's soooo sturdy. LOVE, LOVE the seat, cushy and wide!! I also appreciate the computer face, numbers nice and big to see distance, calories, time, speed and pulse. It's also very, very quiet, I can workout late at night without disturbing my neighbors. I recently had total knee replacement surgery, also I wanted to workout to lose some weight and cycling was the best alternative. This is the best investment I've made in a long, long time. I love that it's portable, when not in use, I fold up and roll out of sight. LOVE IT!! I've already posted picture and info on my Facebook page about it.

    • Great bike at a great price

Having always loved the recumbent bikes at the gym, I was happy to find this well-reviewed bike at such an amazing price. A little wary at first but once I began using the bike, I am happy to give it a five star review. The package is heavy (I needed the doorman's help to get it to my third floor place). Assembly was pretty straightforward and took about 45 minutes (I suggest doing a bit at a time to avoid getting overwhelmed like I do when faced with assembly). Was simple to get every aspect of the bike working - the little computer, the tension control, seat adjustment - all easy to change and definitely feels like a much more expensive piece of equipment than it is. I've put a few hundred miles on the bike and it has been wonderful. Operation is VERY quiet (you can exercise at any time without concerns of anyone, even in the same room, being disturbed). The only thing that I was not aware of until I received the bike is that it is only semi-recumbent. Isn't a bit deal for me (took ~2 minutes to get used to the difference). Provides a great, quiet workout, has none of the drawbacks of an upright bike, the controls are easy to put together and easy to use AND this is a great design for a small space. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

    • Should be called the Little Gem Gym!

I was a little skeptical because of the stated weight, and of course the low price. I was sure it would feel wobbly, or unsteady, and would be unwieldy when folded. Boy as I surprised! I put it togethe in half and hour, and was worn out from exercise in another half hour. It has a very smooth operation, with precise control over tension from the magnetic resistance knob. It feels as good as the 350 pound monster I have in my cabin. I was amazed at how safe I felt sitting on it with just the handles by the seat to hold on too. I then folded it up and carried it up two flights of stairs to the loft in the condo by myself, set it up and used it again, then folded it and placed it out of the way till tomorrow. Not bad for a 76 year old man who had a hip replacement less than one month ago. Thanks for a great product!!!

    • If I can put it together, anyone can!

I agree with some of the reviewers about height. I am 5'7", but have really long legs, and am using this at the top seat height. Definitely something to consider if you're tall. It is completely silent, so great right in front of TV. It took me about an hour to assemble. The hardest part was just maneuvering the main parts since they were pretty heavy.

    • Great Bike; Great Workout

I am 28 year old woman who hates going to the gym during the winter months. I am in good shape, but I needed something to do in front of the TV when I don't feel like getting dressed and driving to the gym. I have literally biked in my pajamas. This bike is as good as the ones in my gym. It is sturdy and the features are nice. I can choose the kind of workout I want, strenuous or light. A person of any age or fitness level can get a nice workout from this bike. I assembled the bike on my own in about an hour.

    • So quiet, great value for not a large person

Unbelievably quiet. I'm 5'8" female with long legs and wish there was one more setting to set back the seat but it's ok. I would tend to think this bike wouldn't fit anyone over 6' tall. Other than that, great purchase, very quiet while riding. Arrives in a large heavy box and must be put together, not overly difficult. Folds up nicely. For the price range of this bike I'm very satisfied. Not super high quality but serves it's purpose, burn calories quietly.

    • Loving This Purchase!

I am cursed when it comes to purchasing large items like this. (A lot of very bad buying and product experiences.) So when my doctor recommended a semi-recumbent bike as an exercise alternative for my recovering shattered leg/knee, I groaned at the prospect of finding one that would be a decent value, quality, etc. (And then groaned again at the thought of exercise, in general.) I've had the bike for a few weeks now and my whole family uses and loves it. It was easy enough to assemble (hurdle #1), I did it "mostly" myself without my husband's help. Could have done it all myself if it weren't for my mobility handicaps. It's very sturdy and easy to get on and off of - even with a gimpy leg and arm. The pedaling operation is so smooth and quiet, I couldn't believe it and the unit is so compact I can exercise in my den with my family in the evenings as we watch TV. The very first night, I worked up a good sweat pedaling 10 miles without a single twinge of knee pain. That was a life-changing moment. I was so excited that my family decided they all had to try it. We love that you can adjust the height/reach for each of us. For the past few weeks it's been "out of the closet" more than it's been put away. Quality, value, ease of use, stability, comfort, this bike ticked all the boxes and I've already recommended it to other friends and family.

    • Do you have to replace the battery--I have no info showing today? What battery does it take and how do you replace it?

      Guidelines
      • Bike computer uses 2 AA batteries, which are included. To replace would be easy, located on the back side of the computer in an easy to remove compartment.

    • I see it says ok for up to to 6'2"; I recently had TKR and can't bend that knee as much as the other yet. I need to be able to get more extension for the pedals. What specifically is the longest extension from the seat to pedal please. (i.e biggest adjustment with seat all the way back to pedal).

      Guidelines
      • i can only tell you that my husband is 6'1" and is able to use it without any problem. he does have to adjust it because i'm 5'1", but it works for both of us.

    • Can the wheels stay attatched or do you have to put them on each time you want to roll this?

      Guidelines
      • The wheels stay attached and are stable.

    • What's shipping weights?

      Guidelines
      • Hello Question1006! The shipping weight for this item is 44 pounds. Thanks for shopping with us!

    • what are the folded dimensions. We are traveling and need to know how this will fit in our van.

      Guidelines
      • Hello cdhaun, This is approximately 24 inches L x 24 inches w x 48 inches H. Have a great day!

    • I need to get some very specific measurements, in order to know if this item will fit properly under my workstation. The answers given by overstock previously regarding dimensions don't specify if the height dimension in particular, is the height of the seat at a certain setting, or the height of the back. I'm assuming the latter. So, I need to know the following: 1. What is the height from the floor to the top of the seat, with the seat at the lowest setting and at the highest setting. 2. What is the height of the front portion of the bike where the flywheel is contained, and the point it begins to slope upwards toward the rider? 3. What is the horizontal distance from the front feet of the bike, to the frontmost-edge of the LCD display unit? I hope this is clear, thanks!

      Guidelines
      • Lowest seat 25.5". Highest 28". Back height is " from top of seat up. Floor to top of fly wheel is about 13.5". Highest part of the display unit is 2'. Approx 4" from very front of bike to front edge of display unit. 38 1/4" from very front base to very back base.

    • My husband is 6' 2". Will he be able to use this or is he too tall to get an effective workout?

      Guidelines
    • I have wide hips and am concerned that I won't fit comfortably between the two handles. What is the width from one handle to the other? Can the handles be adjusted somehow where they wouldn't be in the way? Thank you.

      Guidelines
      • Hi, The width of the handlebars are 20 inches. The handlebars are not adjustable.

    • Is the seat and back adjustable? I need to have my back supported. I'd like to see a picture of the angle of the back rest if it's not adjustable.

      Guidelines
      • The back is not adjustable. The seat is adjustable in that you can move it closer or farther away from the pedals. You cannot adjust the seat itself.

    • Does bike pedal both forward and backward?

      Guidelines
    • Does this exercise bike need to be assembled?

      Guidelines
    • I am only 5'1. Will I be able to use this bike? If not, any other recommendations? Also, since you are sitting down, does it work your hips? Or just your legs?

      Guidelines
      • It says you need to be 5'2" or taller to use this so it might be too large. Yes it works both hips and legs. I looked through alot of our inventory and was unable to find any that recommended for less than 5'2" in fact most say 5'3". So, this one might actually be your best choice.

    • What are the dimensions when in use??? What's with the question marks after each dimension, in your answer? That sounds more like the size of the box it comes in. I need to know how long it is when set up. PLEASE help me out.
