I have used this type of equipment in gyms so decided to purchase one.It is very sturdy and made well but needs some improvements. The pads you lean against have two problems.....1. Being split is very uncomfortable. 2. They are made from cheap materials and I can already see wear in a week. The other problem is the height adjustments are too far apart so you end up too short and lean to far over or too tall and can't lean over comfortably.
I bought this weight set a few weeks ago to start my exercises. I've lost about 5 pounds in 3 weeks and I'd credit most of it to this weight set. It is sturdy and gets the perfect job done every time. Also it's a very good price so I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks Overstock for this item!
I've worked out with Kettlebells for years, and these are fantastic. Far better than the "contoured" shape, these don't cause any wrist bruising. I use them in my living room, near my TV, and I appreciate the fact that they are far less destructive.
I bought them from at a brick-and-mortar store (for a higher price than here.... oops) and my mom was with me, and she said, "I wouldn't use your other kettlebells, but this one feels much safer and more comfortable." I think Kettllebells are a great tool for everyone, and if this design makes it more approachable for people over 60, that's even better!
The product is pretty easy to set up and very easy to use. Hanging by your ankles takes a little getting used to so start slow, wear a pair of socks to keep your skin from being pulled by the ankle clamping device and I think you will find each day gets easier and your body will feel a little better. The table provides a great opportunity to slow down and relax while gravity helps realign the body. It's only been 2 weeks and I feel a few of my pain points improving.
