This item arrives with many parts and rather limited assembly directions. A family member put it together and expressed extreme frustration over the fact that they could not get it to tighten up to the point where it is stable. Also, it lacks recommended exercises or any explanation of how to safely use the product. I haven't given up on the product, but am disappointed in it to date. Not the usual great experience I have had with items purchased through Overstock.

This is a great leg press for a home gym. It has a small footprint, goes together very easily (about 25 minutes), and can handle sufficient weight for the most hardcore lifters without feeling unstable. I have performed leg presses on this machine with 360+ pounds for over 10 reps (much harder than 45 degree sled press). My only complaint with this product is that it does not come with the olympic adapter sleeves, which must be purchased elsewhere ( a simple internet search will suffice). Very good value for the money as this product is closer to $400 at most other sites with additional shipping. You won't be disappointed.

Pros: looks great, solid, dual staggered levels for easy access to bottom rack, commercial gym style fittings; reasonable price Cons: fittings where dumbbells rest are higher than guide rails. this coupled with slope of tray can cause the dumbbells to fall out so need to use caution when setting the DBs down. However, if this is an issue for you, one solution I found is to remove either the upper or lower fitting (or both) sot he DB grabs better.

I have a small gym and lately have been adding Kettle bells. I bought the Cap 50lb weight. It is well finished and the handle is comfortable. I shopped around on may sites and overstock had the lowest price.

Easy to assemble and use. Instructions on its use on DVD is also easy to follow. Only problem is the pulley system is not as smooth as it should be but on the whole the reformer is worth the price. As for the delivery, I had some problems with the delivery of my equipment which was delayed due to some faults of the delivery company over in Victoria which can be avoidable but I got the machine intact so that is good. Other than that unpleasant experience with the delivery, the transaction with overstock is excellent!

This folding mat is fairly well made. It isn't something that you can do serious gymanstics on but it is fine for tumbling or yoga etc. Folds nicely and manageable for my 6 year old.

just wish it came with more "finishing" strips - not enough for the whole 8' x 6' flooring when laid out... otherwise great!

The Magic Circle is exactly as advertised. I love using this at the gym for core exercises and firming the inner thighs. Highly recommend.

If you guys don't want to spend a bunch of money on going to the gym, this a fun alternative. You can do just so many things with light-weighted dumbbells. Plus, I never liked using heavy weighted dumbbells so this actually suites someone like me the most. (5'10, 142lbs. ~13% body fat.)

This is exactly what i was looking for. The same quality that i have seen in children's gym programs. The kids love it and are having fun practicing on it! I compared the price to others and this was the best value.

This is the second time I've purchased these mats for my garage. I keep adding to them. I have a studio in part of my garage, and I put the mats down and a carpet on top of them. Not only do they insulate but they help relieve the fatigue from standing all day. I gave a four star rating instead of five because the borders are useless. They don't lay flat and some of them don't fit the mats at all. The manufacturer could leave the edges out and put in a couple more mats, which would be more helpful, I just threw the edges away.

These weights are durable and very useful. I feel that I can get the most out of my work outs and I don't need a gym membership to do so. They do not take up a lot of space with is key for working out at home. I recommend this for users of all levels of fitness.

We use this weight in our small community gym. The quality of the kettlebell is equivalent to other weights purchased from a national company

This is a nice mat under our gym equipment but the ends don't line up so you have to use a box cutter to cut off extra mat to make the mat work. Kind of odd but not a big deal. Over all a nice mat.

The addition of the stabilizing bar is great and useful to people who might otherwise be unable to exercise. (Be sure to check with doctor). Great piece of the equipment! We didn't have a good place to walk and this solved the problem. You can increase the level of energy you us. The bar does not remove easily but we never felt the need to remove it anyway. It is a fun was to exercise and is fun for all ages. If you jump in front of the tv, time flies and you are finished before you know it!

Looks great. It's solid, light, easy to move and comparable to the ones in local gyms. It took an hour to put together, so don't worry about all the pieces in the box. It's easy. I would say that it is a good buy mainly because it is solid and you can fold it and put it away in an instant. I would certainly recommend it to friends.

I was expecting flooring a little less squishy. It got crushed under the treadmill. Also it only came with a few edge pieces so if I want the floor to look finished I have to order more edges. It came together very easily and looks very nice, but shows dirt VERY easily. For the price it is very good though.

Loved the idea of this machine after watching the infomercial on TV. I normally do daily workouts at home anyway so commitment is not a problem. Then did lots of my own research stumbled across this product on Overstock for far less than this product is offered in Australia, in fact this model is better than what the manufacturer is selling in Australia and I paid about so much less (after shipping to my door)! Very happy with Overstock, product arrived very quickly and was able to track product once shipped. Product itself is fantastic pretty easy to put together, Ive discovered muscles I didn't know I had!

If you are cramped for space and don't squat over 500lbs on a regular basis this an excellent alternative to the pricey power racks out there. This product is surprisingly stable and well engineered to handle the 300lb range. Easy to assemble. Delivery was less than a week for me. No complaints except sore glut and quads. I would recommend this product to any intermediate class lifter.

This bench was a great addition to my home gym. It is easy to assemble but sturdy and stable. It is just the right width for a small-framed female to do bench presses -- not so wide that it obstructs my shoulders. The rubber feet marked up my basement floor a bit, but I've now set the bench on a rubber mat, and it works just fine.

I am pleased with these gym mats, they are springy when you are walking on them and we are using them over a concrete floor for our workout room. We will be ordering one more package to complete the room. We installed them prior to the baseboards, so the lack of finished edges isn't a problem for us.

New variations of tried-and-true exercise machines are always being introduced to the market as the technology of exercise equipment improves. Two exercise machines that have gained popularity are elliptical trainers and treadmills. A major advantage to elliptical trainers is that they possess little risk of injury to the knees, hips, back or ankles. Meanwhile, treadmills are home gym machines on which you can run, walk or jog. The treadmill has been in the marketplace for a long time and is a long-standing piece of standard equipment for most exercise enthusiasts. Elliptical Machines: Elliptical machines present a lower risk of injury to the body. This home gym machine allows the individual to stand in an upright position while supporting her upper body by holding onto the handrails. The individual is able to pick out what muscles to train by shifting the strength on the legs or the arms. This provides for a more flexible workout machine. The machine bears its name because it works to copy the foot's elliptical motion as well as the rotation of the hip during walking or running. Advantages of Elliptical Machines: Since elliptical machines work the upper and lower body, they help you reach your target heart rate more optimally, providing a better cardiovascular workout overall. Individuals can burn a larger number of calories in a shorter period of time. Muscles that benefit from this machine include the legs, shoulders, chest, biceps, triceps and the back. Elliptical machines are also relatively easy to operate and are energy efficient because they do not use much electricity. Treadmills: Traditional treadmills were developed to help you walk, run or jog. Treadmills differ in advantages as there are some machines that have programs that can be customized based on your weight and fitness level. You can also manually control the program to increase or decrease the speed, the incline or the duration of the workout. Walking on a traditional treadmill, however, creates more impact on the knees and hips and may be a cause of injury for some users. Advantages of Treadmills: Some treadmill models have a cushioned surface to support the knees and other parts of the body. With these models, there is a lower risk of injury and an increased level of comfort for the user. Moreover, treadmills provide you with the option to run, jog or walk in the comfort of the gym. Also, you can burn calories by increasing the heart rate, providing a good cardiovascular workout. Buy Home Gym Machines Back to Guides Directory Buy Home Gym Machines

With weight lifting, walking and jogging, gym shoes must withstand a lot of wear and can become dirty quickly. Proper cleaning will not only make women's athletic shoes and men's athletic shoes look their best but may also make them last longer. If you wear your gym shoes mainly for workouts indoors, a good cleaning once every two weeks should be sufficient. If, on the other hand, you wear athletic shoes outdoors, you may need to clean them once a week or more frequently to remove soil and grass stains. Cleaning athletic shoes, however, does not require much time or equipment.

Rowing machine benefits include increased muscle strength, elongated muscles toning and weight loss. There are different styles of rowers appropriate for different activity levels.
