I have used much more expensive, elaborate vibration machines at the gym, and this portable home-sized model is just as good. It is a real bargain at the price. I like the fact that it weighs only 44 lb and stands not too high and I can move it under a table or bed in an apartment. The action of the pedal feels much like the ones in the gym, and you can program it, use different speeds. It is quiet and doesn't shake the floor. I am very happy that I got it.

This is one incredible and fantastic piece of exercise equipment! For the price, it is a super buy! It provides a rocking motion, which may seem simple at first, however, after just a few minutes standing on that machine, or sitting on the platform, you will discover it is much more than simple. The rocking motion improves balance, coordination, movement of various body motions. As you stand on the platform, you can rotate and bend your knees, and create "dance" motions which further enhance toning of the muscles. You can also hold and lift hand-weights, and the added rocking motion greatly increases the strengthening of muscles, which you will sense in your calves, your thighs, and buttocks. And this is all on LOW settings, too! I would not recommend setting higher than about 3 or 4 level, not until you become much more adept at using the machine. I would AVOID using higher setting over 5 or 6, at least initially, and not even use the higher settings. There is virtually NO NOISE, and the machine I purchased is very sturdy, very quiet, and feels like a high-quality machine. I have it sitting outside on my covered patio, however, the machine is probably best suited in-doors, as it is a quality piece of equipment. It is quite heavy, and does not "move about", and is very stable. I read that this machine was originally developed by Russians. It is NOT a toy, though you will experience a lot of enjoyment using it, and if you run two cycles, with ea cycle at ten minutes, you will likely be sweating profusely even at low settings of only 4 or 5! The "simple" rocking motion creates FAST TONING of muscles. My machine has level up to 20, far too powerful for me to endure at this time. Most people should start at level one only, and work-up to level two and so forth. You will feel the 'burn', a good sensation that your muscles have had a good work out. If you hold and lift hand-weights of 5#'s each, biceps and triceps as well as calves and thighs will have an incredible work-out! Your muscles will quickly become very toned. I use 15# hand-held weights, and simply lifting those weights above the head is a strongly felt motion/exercise. You can also sit on the platform, though I would recommend using a small pillow. Also, probably best to wear sturdy tennis shoes etc while standing on the platform -- you will notice your feet also get a work-out. As you become more accustomed to the rocking motion, you will quickly advance to being able to move about without holding onto the bars, and will notice greatly improved strength and balance and sense of increased co-ordination -- this is hard to describe. It's a very well-built machine. I plan to use mine 'forever'. Mine was manufactured in Korea .....the quality is superb. Do NOT let children attempt to play on it, it probably requires supervision. For some people: May wish to wear knee 'stabilizers' initially, unless using only at lowest settings. There is no doubt, after using the machine, there is increased oxygenation of blood, and organs; and likely increases the flushing of the 630+ lymph glands throughout the body, too, which improves the entire immune system. You will feel the work-out effects very quickly, and profoundly. And it is so "SIMPLE" and easy to use. :) It's FUN, too!

In lieu of the price and the quality of the product, I would definitely say it is well worth the money. We both use it and love the results of how well it makes us feel. After a work out it is great!!

As mentioned in other reviews, the directions that arrived with my machine were for a different piece of equipment. Thanks to my mechanical son, he was able to assemble it in about an hour. I feel sorry for those that do not have someone with knowledge to put it together for them. Too bad they don't have someone fixing the problem of wrong or no directions in the box. The machine itself appears to be of decent quality. Only time will tell.

I had never used an inversion table before, but this works wonders for preventing back pain. My wife and I both use it. Many friends of ours swear by them so we finally decided to buy one. The quality exceeded my expectations! Very straightforward to assemble and the quality and fitment of the parts is great. I highly recommend this brand and model.

The first one I ordered arrived damaged, and Overstock was excellent to deal with as far as returning even this heavy, cumbersome item. Customer service was extremely helpful & sent UPS back to retrieve the broken item (the UPS driver was far less delightful...). That said, the item itself may very well be helpful to others, but I have to rate it based on my own personal experience, which has been a pretty negative one. This little machine really, really hurt my lower back.... to the point where I was seriously worried that I might end up in the ER if I used it again. The first time I thought it was just a coincidence, but the 2nd time it was actually worse - I could barely get myself out of bed, stand up, or walk the following day. I'm a regular exerciser that work outs every day, but apparently my lower back was not strong enough to handle a mid-to-higher speed on this little devil-machine. Use with caution, especially anyone that's ever had any sort of a back issue. Can I just say, ouch!?!

At 67 - I'm not getting any younger chronologically speaking. Although I am still in good physical and mental shape - gravity has taken it's share of "liberties" with my body - especially my lower back. Being in the Medical Field for many years - I shy away from medications of ANY kind. I would rather seek out alternative means to help with time related ailments - like the common Osteoarthritis and its associated inconveniences like lower back pain. I have wanted to try inversion therapy for some time now - but never really did much about it until now. After seeing that "old guy" and his brand of Inversion bed on TV one day - I decided to give it a try and go shopping for one of these "contraptions" on OVERSTOCK.COM. I'm glad I finally did!! To begin with - it arrived in less than a week. 3 days to my location - to be exact!! The box arrived at my door weighing 85 pounds. Nice flat sturdy box that was easy to unpack and put together. The instructions are detailed and very explicit - with pictures as well as written instructions. Everything you need is in the box - including the few tools (wrenches - Phillips Screwdriver etc) - that you need. Only takes about 15 to 30 minutes and you have it done and ready to use! I must admit that first time in it I was hesitant to use - simply because standing on your head is not natural. I visioned having to call 911 with - "Help - I am upside down and I can't get up!!!!" - LOL But after getting on and feeling how sturdy it was - I immediately felt safe and secure. It does NOT even wiggle the least bit. The frame is very heavy gauge - as is the rest of the machine. It is EXTREMELY well built and Solid as a rock. The materials used are TOP Notch. It is also well balanced once your body is in it. There is NO "give" or wobble of any kind to the machine itself. This is a professional GYM quality piece of equipment. The padded ankle supports are firm, secure and easy to adjust. The same hold true for the foam padded section that you lay on. It is really comfortable to lay on. The entire bed itself can also be adjusted precisely to your height with an easily accessible lever that locks firmly into place. The Hand grasp bar is large and easily accessible in any position or angle - so there is no worry that once you get into a position - you would not be able to get out. So forget 911. The angle limiting strap is a nice feature, and it the entire machine traverses through it's many angles in a liquid smooth - non jerky motion - like a bed that is precisely balanced - and rocks gently. At NO time do you feel unsafe at all. I started at a 30 degree angle just to be safe - then progressed quickly to full upside down once I got used to feel of the equipment. That is a breeze. Once you are relaxed - you can almost feel your back start to straighten re-align - and the pressure of many years of normal gravity ease and disappear. It doesn't take long before you can see the difference this equipment makes. The heated back pad is just icing on the cake - and is heavenly!! And once you are done - and upright again - you can feel the effects for hours and days. I use this 15 minutes twice a day right now - and the difference it has made in my life is amazing! The only pain medication I ever used was Excedrin - but I don't even need that anymore. Even my knee joints feel better! My only regret is that I didn't get one sooner!! Personally - I HIGHLY recommend!!

I have wanted this machine for some time and Overstock was out of the units for a while. Overstock.com offers the best price and has many reviews which other sites do not have. It was worth the wait. The unit arrived in 2 days, for $1.00 shipping. Amazing now days. It was easy to assemble and all parts went in where they were supposed to with no drilling . etc.. needed. Both my wife and I enjoy the machine. It takes a bit of getting familiar with. The workouts are excellent. This machine was manufactured in China, which is evident from the instruction manual. You must read them very carefully as they are very small and the language is not always the best.

I borrowed an inversion table from a friend before buying this product. Hanging from the inversion table was great for my back, but my ankles couldn't take the pressure and the blood rush to the head took a lot of time to get used to. This product eliminates those negatives, plus there are many different exercises you can do on this piece of equipment. It was fairly easy to put together, but it is a little wobbly, which is why I gave it 3 stars. I couldn't get all the pieces to fit together so that the machine is tight, so maybe it is my fault. Anyway, I use it and my back feels great!!!

I received my machine quickly and it was better than I had thought it would be. I use a $3,000 machine at the gym and my new machine worked as well as the expensive one. So far no problems with the mechanics, so I will hold judgement on that aspect. In general I am very satisfied at this point.

I purchased an Eliptical for my very small apt. I need to work out and the winter has been brutal, so that limits my bike ride. The mat is a perfect fit to go under my machine, but it's not the super thick hard rubber matts that are at the gym that weight about 30lbs each square. So don't be misled by it's look, because it looks exactly the same. Just that this mat is made more like a hard FOAM. It's great for lite use. I would'nt try to power lift 300lbs and slam the barbell down on it. It's great for yoga, lite weights, to put a exercise bike or treadmill on, small weight bench etc, But if your trying to build a home gym, then get the pro matts that they use at a real gym. It mesures about 6 feet by 4 feet. The squares fit perfect & the edges are easy to snap togeter. Simple, easy, good value.....

Great machine for the price. Took a while to put together by myself, but was fairly easy. Very well made. Be sure to not go over max weight, because the more weight you put on, the machine can get a little wobbly (which explains the 400 lb max).

I found the machine easy to assemble and both my wife and I are enjoying the product. I play racquettball and pickleball and my legs usually feel tight from the playing. I come home and get on the machine and ten minutes later my legs feel a lot better. My wife uses it more then I do. I seen her sit on it, stand on it and place both hands on it. I see it making a difference on how she looks. She appears more relax. We have only had it for a short time and from what I see I would definately recommend it as part of your daily routine of exercise.

This machine is very well made. It's super heavy duty and very sturdy. Looks like it actually belongs in a gym or doctor's office. It's very easy to put together and easy to use. Easy to adjust-my husband is 5'11" and 200 lbs, and I am 5'1" 110 lbs. Just a couple quick knob adjustments and you're good to go. A minute or two a day and you'll feel good as new. I swear by this. I'm on my feet all day long and I do a lot of physical work, and this helps enormously. Thinking of buying another one for our summer house in Maine. I still can't believe how great this is for such an incredible price. I truly recommend this to anyone!!!

I've had it for about 3 weeks to a month now & I love it. I use it everyday. I don't get a lot of exercise otherwise & the Crazy Fit is just what I need. It loosens up my painful joints & back & it helps keep my fluid retention in tact, too. For the price, you can't go wrong. My 9 yr old granddaughter who is slightly overweight will use it when she visits, too.

This is a very nice machine. very smooth considering it uses bushings. I own a couple other Body Solid pieces of equipment for my home gym and they are solid & well built. Add the lifetime warranty and they are one of the best. Only negative I have to say is it does not come with the sleeves for olympic weights (a little decieving because every picture shows them with them on it). Wish they would throw those in the box (Most people use olympic weights these days!)

I would recommend this to a friend who has the same needs as myself. I do not use this machine as an exercise tool but rather an excellent tool for working and stimulating my blood flow so that I'm not cold all the time (I suffer from Hypothyroidism). My circulation has improved greatly and I feel energized when I am done. I do 20-30 minutes a day. The routine buttons never have worked properly for me. The off button was broken from the start. I turn the machine on and off with my toe on the bottom of the machine and then speed it up to what I usually like. It times it for ten minutes at a time. I just start it again until I've reached the desired amount f time I want to spend on it. Before I bought it, others had said the same thing about the glitches but I'm still happy with my machine. My circulation is better.

I love this machine! Great workout and many different programs although a little bit hard to figure out. The machine works great but as noted before the power circuit breaker on the back of the machine broke almost instantly so it still works just have to plug and unplug each time for use. Great workout in the comfort of your own home, but if you live in a apartment probably not a good idea cuz on the higher settings it shakes the house. But overall im happy with the Crazyfit!

New variations of tried-and-true exercise machines are always being introduced to the market as the technology of exercise equipment improves. Two exercise machines that have gained popularity are elliptical trainers and treadmills. A major advantage to elliptical trainers is that they possess little risk of injury to the knees, hips, back or ankles. Meanwhile, treadmills are home gym machines on which you can run, walk or jog. The treadmill has been in the marketplace for a long time and is a long-standing piece of standard equipment for most exercise enthusiasts. Elliptical Machines: Elliptical machines present a lower risk of injury to the body. This home gym machine allows the individual to stand in an upright position while supporting her upper body by holding onto the handrails. The individual is able to pick out what muscles to train by shifting the strength on the legs or the arms. This provides for a more flexible workout machine. The machine bears its name because it works to copy the foot's elliptical motion as well as the rotation of the hip during walking or running. Advantages of Elliptical Machines: Since elliptical machines work the upper and lower body, they help you reach your target heart rate more optimally, providing a better cardiovascular workout overall. Individuals can burn a larger number of calories in a shorter period of time. Muscles that benefit from this machine include the legs, shoulders, chest, biceps, triceps and the back. Elliptical machines are also relatively easy to operate and are energy efficient because they do not use much electricity. Treadmills: Traditional treadmills were developed to help you walk, run or jog. Treadmills differ in advantages as there are some machines that have programs that can be customized based on your weight and fitness level. You can also manually control the program to increase or decrease the speed, the incline or the duration of the workout. Walking on a traditional treadmill, however, creates more impact on the knees and hips and may be a cause of injury for some users. Advantages of Treadmills: Some treadmill models have a cushioned surface to support the knees and other parts of the body. With these models, there is a lower risk of injury and an increased level of comfort for the user. Moreover, treadmills provide you with the option to run, jog or walk in the comfort of the gym. Also, you can burn calories by increasing the heart rate, providing a good cardiovascular workout. Buy Home Gym Machines Back to Guides Directory Buy Home Gym Machines
Exercise benches are extremely versatile pieces of equipment. Although in gyms, exercise benches traditionally serve as a spot for bench presses and other barbell exercises, they are actually useful among weights and machines for working all of your muscle groups. They look simple, but they are very useful in a fitness routine, especially a weight lifting and cardiovascular workout plan. To properly use an exercise bench, think beyond bench pressing to the multitude of opportunities for including it in a general fitness plan that involves using a wide range of weights and machines.
Elliptical trainers allow you to burn about the same number of calories you would by jogging. However, you can exercise on an elliptical trainer at any time, no matter what the weather is like outside. In addition, using an elliptical trainer instead of a treadmill or other home gym machine helps you avoid injuring your knees, hips, back and ankles. There are several types of elliptical machines available. By making an informed comparison, you can select the best home gym machine for you.
