For home use or commercial use these kettlebells are a great to have. As a personal trainer I recommend adding KB training to your lower body workouts.

This is a good piece of equipment for a home gym. Very sturdy. It take s alittle while to put together, but has many versatile uses and we are happy with it so far. Only problem was that one of the screws was striped and we had to get a part from the hardware store to make it work. Other than that it is good! Having a drill helps too :)

If you're looking for a home gym, and you're a senior citizen like me, this is a great piece of equipment to start with because it's very inexpensive. It comes with a big glossy chart showing the major exercises. The chair came completely assembled -- very minor setup was involved, and I did it myself -- I'm 5 feet tall and wear a leg brace, by the way -- and I had no trouble at all.

I was not happy with the purchase. Some of the parts were broken and plastic which did not work well with the metal. The piece was stripped and did not function as it should. I don't think I will make future purchases of large items. I would have returned the item, but did not want to go through the hassle.

I bought this for my dad's birthday hoping he would use it on a daily basis. His job requires him to be mostly sedentary and he's already readying for retirement, so I knew I had to get him moving again soon. Once he became accustomed to its functionality, he hasn't stopped using it since! It's VERY EASY to use, takes up little space, and gets his arm, legs, and breathing in motion for a good workout. This was a great gift, probably my best :)

This is a great leg press for a home gym. It has a small footprint, goes together very easily (about 25 minutes), and can handle sufficient weight for the most hardcore lifters without feeling unstable. I have performed leg presses on this machine with 360+ pounds for over 10 reps (much harder than 45 degree sled press). My only complaint with this product is that it does not come with the olympic adapter sleeves, which must be purchased elsewhere ( a simple internet search will suffice). Very good value for the money as this product is closer to $400 at most other sites with additional shipping. You won't be disappointed.

Very well constructed. Could only be improved if it had wheels.

I recently purchased this item for my mini-sized stair stepper and elliptical machine. I can confidently state it works well for the 60lbs of equipment and 160lbs of myself, unsure how it will perform under extremely heavy, bulky equipment. Overall, I am happy with the purchase for my needs.

The equipment is not bad for the price. if you are looking for a cheap piece of exercise equipment to add to your home-gym, then this is probably worth it. I was missing lots of hardware (nuts & bolts); however. Ended up spending another $10 at Home Depot to get the right parts to assemble everything... the inconvenience was annoying.

I bought this sit up bench to work on my abs. Shipping was fast. It came in one box and was easy to assemble. Assembly took about 15 minutes. It even comes with touch up paint in case there are any blemishes due to shipping. The bench is easy to use, and rock solid. The feet are covered with rubber, and the entire piece is of high quality. Doing sit ups with this concentrates on the lower abs, and one can augment the workup by hold weights while doing the sit up. I foresee Abercrombie and Fitch six packs in the near future.

I bought this Resistance chair for my Mom (in her 60's) she loves it. it is easy to use, offers good support during use. I had doubts about paying so much for it, but when I got the product I realized the high quality and engenering that went into it to justify the cost. My mom can watch TV and use the chair, her friends tried it and they love it also. The refurbished item comes in a previously opened box that has been resealed just so you know, it looked new to me when I opened the box and all the parts and paperwok along with the DVD were there. Overstock, com delivered fast as always.

New variations of tried-and-true exercise machines are always being introduced to the market as the technology of exercise equipment improves. Two exercise machines that have gained popularity are elliptical trainers and treadmills. A major advantage to elliptical trainers is that they possess little risk of injury to the knees, hips, back or ankles. Meanwhile, treadmills are home gym machines on which you can run, walk or jog. The treadmill has been in the marketplace for a long time and is a long-standing piece of standard equipment for most exercise enthusiasts. Elliptical Machines: Elliptical machines present a lower risk of injury to the body. This home gym machine allows the individual to stand in an upright position while supporting her upper body by holding onto the handrails. The individual is able to pick out what muscles to train by shifting the strength on the legs or the arms. This provides for a more flexible workout machine. The machine bears its name because it works to copy the foot's elliptical motion as well as the rotation of the hip during walking or running. Advantages of Elliptical Machines: Since elliptical machines work the upper and lower body, they help you reach your target heart rate more optimally, providing a better cardiovascular workout overall. Individuals can burn a larger number of calories in a shorter period of time. Muscles that benefit from this machine include the legs, shoulders, chest, biceps, triceps and the back. Elliptical machines are also relatively easy to operate and are energy efficient because they do not use much electricity. Treadmills: Traditional treadmills were developed to help you walk, run or jog. Treadmills differ in advantages as there are some machines that have programs that can be customized based on your weight and fitness level. You can also manually control the program to increase or decrease the speed, the incline or the duration of the workout. Walking on a traditional treadmill, however, creates more impact on the knees and hips and may be a cause of injury for some users. Advantages of Treadmills: Some treadmill models have a cushioned surface to support the knees and other parts of the body. With these models, there is a lower risk of injury and an increased level of comfort for the user. Moreover, treadmills provide you with the option to run, jog or walk in the comfort of the gym. Also, you can burn calories by increasing the heart rate, providing a good cardiovascular workout. Buy Home Gym Machines Back to Guides Directory Buy Home Gym Machines
